SLIPKNOT Issues Statement On JOEY JORDISON’s Death: ‘Without Him, There Would Be No Us’

SLIPKNOT has issued a statement regarding the passing of its former drummer Joey Jordison. The founding SLIPKNOT member’s family confirmed that Jordinson passed away “peacefully in his sleep” on Monday (July 26) of an unspecified cause. He was 46 years old. Earlier today, SLIPKNOT released an eight-and-a-half-minute video tribute to Jordison featuring behind-the-scenes footage and performance clips shot during his time with the band. METAL CHURCH has amended its previously released statement regarding the passing of singer Mike Howe. Howe was found dead at his home in Eureka, California on Monday, July 26. According to TMZ, Howe‘s official cause of death was determined to be asphyxia due to hanging. A spokesperson for the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Dept. told the site authorities are calling it a suicide.
