STEEL PANTHER wrote: “The End of an Era “The great pandemic of 2020-2037 has affected all of us. For some though, it has opened doors of opportunity and been a catalyst to seek out one’s true calling in life. This is Lexxi‘s story. He started his side business, ‘Sexy Lexxi’s Prettiest Pets,’ to bring in money for Botox during the lockdown. But something miraculous happened. DECAPITATED Pushes Back Against Attempts ‘To Cause Damage’ To Band By Revisiting Four-Year-Old Rape Charges

Polish tech death masters DECAPITATED have pushed back against attempts by unnamed individals to force the cancelation of the band’s recently announced European 25th-anniversary tour. The controversy stems from the fact all four members of DECAPITATED were accused by a woman of gang-raping her after a concert in 2017 in Spokane, Washington. In January 2018, rape and kidnapping charges against the musicians were dropped by prosecutors in Washington state. At the time, the prosecutors filed a motion in Spokane County Superior Court dismissing the charges, citing only the “well-being of the victim” as the reason. Earlier today, DECAPITATED released the following statement: “As many of you may or may not be aware, back in 2017 in the midst of our USA tour we had the wor...

Foo Fighters’ Debut as the “Dee Gees” Is a Fun Foray Into the Legacy of the Bee Gees

In a clip from his new Paramonut+ docuseries From Cradle to Stage, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl tells Pharrell Williams that he ripped off old disco and funk songs when coming up with his drum parts for Nirvana’s Nevermind. And while his hard rock ethos has always been present, Grohl has been outspoken in the past about his appreciation for ‘70s pop, disco, R&B and funk. This time, however, the Foos are taking that appreciation one step further with Hail Satin, their debut EP as the Dee Gees, which is out today (July 17th) exclusively on vinyl for Record Store Day. Hail Satin sees the Foo Fighters taking on five classic Bee Gees songs (“You Should Be Dancing,” “Night Fever,” “Tragedy,” “Shadow Dancing,” and “More Than A Woman”) and bringing their own unique spin to them under a dis...
