Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has started gifting his baby boys landed properties before their first birthday. The “Woju” crooner gifted his two sons Jalil and Jelani a house in Lekki as he begins the journey to becoming the best father in the world. Nigerian rapper Olamide has unveiled the video snippet of his single “Julie” which is set for release. The tune is a Caribbean-inspired piece that offers some of the creativity of the rapper as he delves into different genres. It’s one of most beautiful pieces of his recent kingly album released in June dubbed “UY Scuti”. A Card Shop in Japan Has Installed a Cage for When TCG Battles Get Out of Hand
Trading card fanatics know that games like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon can get intense and apparently so does this store in Japan. The Japanese store had to take trading card battles to the next level by building a full battle cage for duelers to go head to head. The cage appears to take notes from that of an MMA cafe, featuring steal constructs and a padded floor. A monitor is placed outside the cage to showcase what is happening on the table so spectators passing by can check in on the action. The cage also features two gaming chairs and a table. The set-up appears peculiar but the tweet has been seen and retweeted thousands of times. The shop, Book-Off, specializes in used books, selling other used items like trading cards. A rare PC port of the ultra-iconic Super Mario Bros. 3 has now been rediscovered. Previously thought to be lost to time, the ported demo was created by id Software back in 1990 as a pitch to Nintendo to bring the massively popular franchise onto PC. Ultimately, Nintendo decided not to go ahead with the project, but many claim that the port went on to inspire Commander Keen. Harry Styles Adjusts 2021 North American Tour Dates
This fall, Harry Styles will embark on a lengthy US tour in support of his latest album, Fine Line. Ahead of its launch date, the singer has made a number of adjustments to the tour’s itinerary. Due to COVID-19 restrictions varying by state, the “Fine Line Tour” kick off a month later than originally planned. The first date is now scheduled for September 4th in Las Vegas, Nevada. What’s more, because of global travel restrictions, Styles has had to pull the plug on all international tour dates at this time — and that includes Canada. Foo Fighters Announce First-Ever Alaska Tour Dates
In took 26 years, but Foo Fighters are finally heading to Alaska. As part of their upcoming North America tour, Dave Grohl have announced a trio of shows in the 49th state. Specifically, they’ll play two shows at Anchorage’s Dena’ina Center on August 17th and 19th and a gig at Carlson Center in Fairbanks on August 21st. The dates make Foo Fighters’ first-ever ones in Alaska. The Alaska concerts are part of an increasingly lengthy tour schedule that gets going at the end of July. Now Dash has brought up another issue, asserting that JAY-Z has wrongfully transferred the streaming rights to Reasonable Doubt from Roc-A-Fella to S. Carter Enterprises LLC without his prior authorization. Since JAY-Z is the sole owner of S. Carter Enterprises LLC, Dame’s team claims that he has essentially now transferred the streaming rights directly to himself.
