BTS have shared a teaser trailer for their recently-announced single “Permission to Dance.” The song drops Friday, July 9th. Co-written by Ed Sheeran alongside Steve Mac, Jenna Andrews, and Johnny McDaid, “Permission to Dance” seems to come with a joyous disco backing track. Sufjan Stevens has announced a new collaborative album with Asthmatic Kitty label mate Angelo De Augustine. Entitled A Beginner’s Mind, it’s due for release on August 24th. As a preview, the duo has shared two songs: “Reach Out” and “Olympus”. Iconic Smashed ‘London Calling’ Bass to Be Permanently Displayed At Museum Of London
The Fender Precision bass smashed by The Clash‘s Paul Simonon during a show at New York’s Palladium in Sept. 1979 will go on permanent display at the Museum of London later this year. The iconic image of Simonon swinging his instrument and driving it into the stage was used as the cover of the punk group’s beloved 1979 London Calling album.
