To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the debut album of rock’s most mysterious band GHOST, Super7 will release a Papa Emeritus I figure as part of the Ultimates! Figures Collection. Papa Emeritus I was the progenitor of the heavy rock phenomenon GHOST. From the shadows, he and his Nameless Ghouls filled the airwaves with sounds of dark rituals, human sacrifices, and satanic hymns. Known for his mysterious nature and aggressive stage presence, Papa Emeritus I elevated GHOST to heights few in the clergy ever come to achieve. During his tenure as Papa, he toured the U.S. and Europe several times, all while staying true to the message of the Dark Ministry. While Papa Emeritus I‘s achievements in the name of Satan were numerous, the clergy had even greater plans of world dominatio...

And there’s somebody from the hip-hop scene. There’s three people in total. There’s somebody from the hip-hop scene that’s...
Former FAITH NO MORE guitarist Trey Spruance has looked back on the difficult recording of the band’s “King For A Day… Fool For A Lifetime” album, citing an “unhealthy, toxic atmosphere” within the band at the time of its’ creation. Trey made the remarks while talking to Eonmusic about MR. BUNGLE‘s “Raging Wrath Of The Easter Bunny Demo”, which is available now via Ipecac Recordings. Speaking about the 1995 release, which saw the members at odds with each other, as well as creative tensions within the band, Trey admitted: “It seemed to me that they were in a worse place when we finished recording that record, interpersonally, than they were when they started.” The only FAITH NO MORE album to feature Spruance, “King For...

Another round of changes are coming to both of America’s Disney parks. The iconic Jungle Cruise rides at Disneyland and Disney World will be modified to remove what the company calls “negative depictions” of native peoples. According to a new post on the Disney Parks Blog, the riverboat attraction that first opened at Disneyland in 1955 and was replicated at Disney World in 1971 will no longer feature dated scenes of people of color dressed in generic jungle attire. Instead, the ride will follow an actual storyline narrated by its beloved skippers, and the scenery will contain more animals and less offensive human depictions. These updates are being made to “reflect and value the diversity of the world around us.” “This is not a re-envisioning of the entire attraction,” explained Disney Im...
Things are afoot in the FKA twigs camp. In October, the R&B star revealed that her third album had been completed during quarantine. Now, she’s back with a new song called “Don’t Judge Me”. Today’s offering is her first since dropping the masterful album MAGDALENE in 2019. In addition to a stunning performance from FKA twigs, the track features UK rapper Headie One and producer Fred again…, who’s worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Brian Eno. “Don’t Judge Me” appears to be something of a companion release or sequel to “Don’t Judge Me (Interlude)”, an early 2020 collaboration that also featured all three artists. Unlike the intentional vagueness of that song, the themes on this version are a lot more direct. During her verse and the hook, twigs begs her lover to hold her and appreci...
