COREY TAYLOR Says SLIPKNOT Is ‘Thinking About Putting Another Album Out’ Next Year

In a new interview with the “Good Company” show hosted by Scott Bowling, Corey Taylor was asked about SLIPKNOT‘s plans for the coming months once the coronavirus pandemic has subsided. He said (see video below): “The plan right now with SLIPKNOT is to try and a) finish up the touring next year, and b) we’re thinking about kind of putting another album out maybe next year. But I don’t know. I don’t know what the plan is yet. I just know that we all kind of feel like there’s unfinished business and we wanna finish that out before we do anything. But I know that we were talking about doing it, ’cause we only have one album left on our contract [with our record label].” Last month, SLIPKNOT percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” C...

SM1LO and Rich DietZ Floor the Gas Pedal With Tech House Thumper, “Bentley Coupe”

We’ve heard the old adage of turning water into wine, but what about turning your mom’s bathtub into a swimming pool? SM1LO and Rich DietZ are on a quest to redefine the expression with their new single, “Bentley Coupe.” The track hits hard in both its production and in its comedic flair, flooring the gas pedal to create the ultimate feel-good bop with positive messaging during a time when we all need it most. “Bentley Coupe” is one of those songs that will stay stuck in your head long after it’s over, with punchy synths, booming bass, and roaring sirens. Behind the hilarious lyrics, which harken to transforming your “father’s truck into a Bentley Coupe,” is the optimistic outlook of believing in one’s dreams.  SM1...

Ozzy Osbourne on COVID-19: “If I Get This Virus, I’m F**ked”

Ozzy Osbourne has suffered through a number of health issues over the past few years, and the last thing he needs right now is to contract COVID-19. As the metal legend puts it, “If I get this virus, I’m f**ked”. Over the past two years, Osbourne has had a series of health setbacks, including a serious staph infection in late 2018, followed by pneumonia in early 2019. While he was recovering from pneumonia, he fell at home, dislodging metal rods that had been inserted into his body after an ATV accident in 2003. He then disclosed at the beginning of this year that he has been battling Parkinson’s disease for a long time. Had it not been for his various health problems and the pandemic, he likely would have completed his farewell tour by now. But he had to cancel all of his dates for the pa...

Eric Clapton Teams with Van Morrison for Anti-Lockdown Protest Song “Stand and Deliver”

Van Morrison (photo by Philip Cosores) and Eric Clapton (photo by Majvdl via Wikimedia Commons) Looks like Van Morrison has pulled Eric Clapton into his suckhole of pseudo-science bull. The legendary musicians have teamed up for a new anti-lockdown protest single called “Stand and Deliver”. Morrison has been speaking out against the United Kingdom’s COVID-19 restrictions since the summer, particularly as they relate to live music. In September, he launched an anti-lockdown song series that included the tracks “Born to Be Free” and “No More Lockdown”. In spite of the fact that such measures have helped the country start to see a flattening of its infection curve even as one in every 185 people in Morrison’s native Northern Ireland test positive, the Astral Weeks singer apparently hasn’t evo...

Drakeo was charged with benefiting from a murder he didn’t commit, and the Stinc Team was labeled a gang. While Drakeo fought his case and spent almos...

Its 10 tracks were rediscovered March 2019 during meetings with producer Nick DiDia to select outtakes for the 20-year anniversary reissue of their classic Odyssey Number Five. “Some of the songs were always earmarked for a release at some stage, and they were purposely not used as b-sides as we thought they were too good,” frontman Bernard Fanning explains. “I feel like this is how we ended up looking through our old material, where we discovered other unreleased gems.” The release caps off an unusually busy year for the Brisbane band. During the national lockdown, Powderfinger reformed for One Night Lonely, a special virtual concert which raised more than A$500,000 for music industry charity Support Act and mental wellbeing support service Beyond Blue. First Country Holiday Edition: New Original Christmas Music From Dan + Shay, Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton & More

Reigning CMA duo of the year Dan + Shay’s two originals this year serve as flip sides of the same coin: one spritely, the other sad. The upbeat “Take Me Home For Christmas” is a bouncy ode to going home with your beloved to their hometown for the holidays, so you can go caroling and relive her childhood memories. “Christmas Isn’t Christmas” is a lush piano and string ballad that plays on the pair’s gorgeous harmonies about how Christmas is “just a day at the end of December” if you’re apart from the one you love—though Jesus may agree to differ. Carrie Underwood & John Legend, “Hallelujah” Not to be confused with the Leonard Cohen classic, the new tune featured on Underwood’s chart-topping holiday album “My Gift” combines both romance, the meaning of the holiday, and hope.
