Original MACHINE HEAD drummer Tony Costanza has died. He was 52 years old. Costanza‘s passing was confirmed by his former CRISIS bandmate Afzaal Nasiruddeen, who wrote in a Facebook post: “It is with a very heavy heart that I have to accept and inform everyone concerned that I lost my brother, band mate, home boy and family today. “Tony Costanza was one of a kind. A man with a huge heart, love and loyalty for the ones close to him. “I cannot relate to this reality of loss yet. I know he had a lot of admirers, and I was one of his biggest. He would have literally taken a bullet for me. As Kanye West’s presidential campaign slogs on its second month, the rapper-mogul is reportedly having a hard time getting on a state’s presidential ballot. Despite getting enough signatures in Oklahoma, the West campaign had to withdraw its petition to appear on the New Jersey ballot, according to the AP, which saw an email thread between Administrative Law Judge Gail Cookson and what the publication describes as “an unidentified person writing from a Kanye 2020 address.” “At this time, Kanye 2020 has no further option than to regrettably withdraw from New Jersey and cease further efforts to place Mr. West’s name on the New Jersey ballot,” the email said on Monday, according to the AP. Over a week after writing that he’s “reconsidering” legal action, it looks like Neil Young is suing the Trump campaign. On his Neil Young Archives website on Tuesday morning, Young posted what appears to be a draft of a lawsuit that claims the Trump campaign did not have a proper license to play two of his songs: “Rockin’ in the Free World” and “Devil’s Sidewalk.” “Plaintiff in good conscience cannot allow his music to be used as a ‘theme song’ for a divisive, un-American campaign of ignorance and hate,” reads the suit, that will be filed in the Southern District of New York.
