Hands On with the “Avicii Invector Encore Edition” Video Game for Nintendo Switch

Since the tragic passing of Avicii back in 2018, the EDM world has put together an amazing collection of tributes. We’ve seen everything from a star-studded concert to an upcoming museum dedicated to his career, and the late artist is now getting the Nintendo Switch treatment with the forthcoming Avicii Invector Encore Edition video game. The standard edition of Avicii Invector released late last year on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Encore Edition, however, features 10 new tracks, including some from Avicii’s posthumous album Tim. Shaq has been making his way around the bass music world as of late. In the past year, he’s collaborated with NGHTMRE and Lil Jon on “BANG,” Nitti Gritti on “Takin’ Over,” and Riot Ten and T-Wayne on “Ultimate.” With his latest collaboration, he’s teamed up with Eliminate for their new single “Tear It Up,” out via Disciple Records.  “Tear It Up” is a monster of a track. Opening with a goofy phone conversation between the collaborators, the tune quickly accelerates into maniacal drop filled with resonating, metallic synths and pounding kicks. Shambhala Postpones Forthcoming Virtual Music Festival In Light of Billy Kenny Allegations

Shambhala Music Festival‘s forthcoming virtual edition has officially been postponed in light of recent allegations of the sexual assault and rape of multiple women by Billy Kenny, who once appeared on the event’s lineup. Organizers took to Twitter to share an official statement in which they address “allegations against past and present artists” on the performance roster and outline the steps they plan on taking in the immediate future. Marvel Cinematic Universe directors The Russo Brothers are bringing their talents back to the real world. And they aren’t doing it cheaply: The Hollywood duo has teamed up with Netflix for the platform’s most expensive film, The Gray Man. What’s more, the brothers have brought on both Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans for the starring roles. As Deadline reports, Joe Russo will provide a script based on Mark Greaney’s 2009 novel of the same name. He released his excellent autobiography, Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir, back in 2010.
