Headbangers, get ready to raise your fists because Excision has just announced the official release date for his highly-anticipated Downlink collaboration titled “Resistance,” which will be released on Thursday, June 18th, 2020. The ID was first tracked down by a fan back in October after Excision released his two-hour Lost Lands 2019 set. From the preview below, it’s clear the call-to-action single will ignite a fire in the bass music community due to its echoing, ominous sirens, which guide the way for the heart-pounding drums to transport the listener to a world of bass destruction. All proceeds from the single will be donated to the Equal Justice Initiative, an organization that works to combat mass incarceration, excessive punishment, an...

A little over ten years ago, the music world was rocked when Robyn released “Dancing On My Own.” The song would go on to become an unofficial anthem for the LGBTQ+ community, universally uniting those who’ve felt cast away to the shadows through the themes of isolation and loneliness. To this day you can’t go to a Pride parade and not hear this track being belt out by the masses. The song now comes with a different meaning due to the unwavering stay at home ordinances in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and its beauty has now been reignited by the queen herself. She recently shared a quarantine video, which is directed by Crille Forsberg, Maria ‘Decida’ Wahlberg, and Robyn herself, in which she performs “Dancing On My Own”...
Renowned deep house producer Nora En Pure has been a production machine while under lockdown. The South African-Swiss DJ dynamo, who has been relatively quiet on the release front in 2020, will be releasing “a steady stream of new music over the rest of the year,” according to a press release issued for her new single “All I Need.” Returning to Swiss house label and frequent collaborator Enormous Tunes, Nora dropped the curtain on “All I Need” and shared an instant classic. “All I Need” churns along to the bewitchingly melancholic sound design that has become synonymous with Nora and her brand over the course of the last decade, using subtle synth plucks and aching vocals to deliver a spellbinding deep house number. The forthcoming ...

For months now, Hollywood has setting its sights on the July 17th release of Christopher Nolan’s Tenet as the day movie theaters across the country begin opening back up. While Nolan remains determined to screen his latest epic in theaters, the release has now been pushed back two weeks, to July 31st, according to The Hollywood Reporter. A majority of North American theaters have been closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the aim to re-open in mid-July in time for Nolan’s blockbuster. Earlier this week, AMC reiterated those plans, confirming that 97% of its theaters should be operational by then. Warner Bros. gave no explanation for why it’s pushing Nolan’s Tenet by two weeks. However, as an amends to theaters that will be re-open by July 17th, the studio will be makin...

Later in life, he became obsessed with tarot cards, as well as alternative...
Source: @nickiminaj / Instagram The Hip-Hop culture was dismayed and even offended that Nicki Minaj would decide to once again work with known government informant, Tekashi 6ix9ine, but if we’ve learned anything about Nicki these last few years it’s that she could give two f*cks about what her fans have to say. During an IG Live session with Tekashi, Nicki explained that she understood why people felt the way they felt about snitching “because they lived that life,” but also feels that “rappers need to play it easy” because they love talking it but ain’t living it. After suggesting that a street rapper would have no problem signing a record deal with a “rat executive,” Nicki went on to say “let’s be clear when we talk about rappers versus street n*ggas. It’s rappers that put guns they ain’...
Source: photo: Instagram Last month we reported that Young Buck had filed for bankruptcy in what appeared to be a last minute effort to avoid paying 50 Cent and G-Unit money owed from previous dealings. Now in documents obtained by Bossip we’re getting a clearer picture of Buck’s financial situation and it is not pretty for the man who once tried to teach us how to ball. Aside from saying he’s relying on his current girlfriend for financial support, also revealed that he owed $50,239 to the IRS and another $106,000 in child support to two baby mamas in both Georgia and Tennessee. And unfortunately his only source of income stem from past mixtape sales (not albums) which could barely cover a years worth of rent in most states. He lists that his only source of income this year was...
