Grace Sings Sludge Shares New Song “Friend to All”: Stream

Grace Sings Sludge, the solo project from Grace Cooper of The Sandwitches, has shared the new song “Friend to All”. It’s the latest single off her forthcoming album Christ Mocked and the End of a Relationship, which just received the new release date of July 17th. Christ Mocked… is her fifth album under the Grace Sings Sludge banner, but the first recorded at a proper studio. If “Friend to All” is any indication, she’s definitely benefiting from crisper production. The new single is a lovely journey into gothic folk. Over gentle, minor-key guitars, Cooper spins an anxious tale of a downtrodden woman who’s “been friends to all,” in her own way. Cooper’s singing is expansive and expressive; she loves to whittle down a vowel until it’s little more than a hum, and then flip her voice upwa...

John Boyega Goes Off Following George Floyd Killing: “I Really Fucking Hate Racists”

John Boyega is a man who stands by his words. Struck by the killing of George Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis, the Star Wars actor tweeted out, “I really fucking hate racists.” When confronted by other Twitter users about his seemingly unassailable opinion, Boyega refused to apologize. It began when Boyega posted a tribute to Floyd, the unarmed black man who was killed when a cop pinned his neck to the ground while he was handcuffed. “This just burns,” the actor wrote. “Seems to be a never ending cycle. The murderers need to be charged severely. Even in the face of death this man was given zero empathy.” In a separate follow-up tweet, Boyega shared his aforementioned opinions on racists. And because the Twitterverse is a swirling netherworld of echoing contempt, people actually to...

Live at the Astoria is notable as the first officially recorded performance of many future classics, including “Fake Plastic Trees”, “Black Star”, “My Iron Lung”, and “S...

2 Chainz Restaurant Shut Down For COVID-19 Guidelines Violations

Source: Prince Williams / Getty 2 Chainz needs to holla at his restaurant’s management. The Atlanta rapper’s local establishment, Escobar Restaurant & Tapas, got shut down by the police due to violations of COVID-19 guidelines. TMZ reports that on Monday night, the cops drove by and noticed the restaurant looked particularly busy. The Georgia State Police took a closer look and according to the police report,  they “noticed that the location was rather loud, busy, and occupied to be operating as a restaurant at that time of night.” And just like that, the party was over. All those people assembled, besides showing a stunning lack of common sense, meant the restaurant was in violation of COVID-19 guidelines. Georgia’s guidelines reportedly call for 10 customers max per table on onl...

Crowds Gather In Minneapolis To Protest Murder Of George Floyd, Tear Gas Deployed By Cops

Source: Stephen Maturen / Getty George Floyd, the Houston native who was effectively murdered by Minneapolis police earlier this week, was in the front of the minds of those who gathered to protest his senseless death. As large crowds gathered in the southern section of the Minnesota city, police and protestors clashed not unlike demonstrations of the past sparked by similar circumstances. While an official tally of gatherers is largely unknown, thousands, or at the very least, hundreds, took to the streets of South Minneapolis as they met at a memorial site for Floyd. Known as “Big Floyd” by family and friends, the restaurant security guard and family man was targeted by police after allegedly attempting to use a counterfeit bill at a store. While outside sitting on the hood of his car, F...

Liar-In-Chief Donald Trump BIG MAD After Twitter Fact Checks His Fugazi Tweets

Source: – / Getty FINALLY, Twitter has taken action against the constant lies that Donald Trump pushes on Twitter daily. Twitter slapped two tweets from Donald Trump, alerting users that the information that he is sharing is “possibly misleading” because, honestly, it is. The tweets in question featured Trump’s insanely false claims that mail-in voting will lead to massive amounts of voter fraud leading to a “Rigged Election,” despite evidence clearly pointing to that not being the case. Oh, and the fact that Trump also uses mail-in ballots to vote as well. He also falsely claims that California will allow “anyone living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there,” the ability to vote. ….living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there, will get one. That w...

Gunna “Rockstar Bikers & Chains,” Rich The Kid ft. YoungBoy Never Broke Again “Racks On” & More | Daily Visuals 5.27.20

Source: Tim Mosenfelder / Getty Though the life of a rap star is indeed something to behold at times, some rappers opt to live the life of rock stars which tend to be way more lit even by Hip-Hop star standards. Gunna seems to be aiming to breakthrough into this genre’s way of life in his visuals to “Rockstar Bikers & Chains” as the rap star goes full-on metal in outer space complete with flame-throwing guitars and spiked wrist bands. This video remind anyone else of Jason X? Great “bad movie.” Back on Earth, Rich The Kid invites YoungBoy Never Broke Again to his home for some pool, PS4, and studio time for their clip to “Racks On.” Now that’s a friend. Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Troy Ave, BlocBoy JB and Tay Keith, and more. GUNNA – “ROCKSTAR BIKERS & C...

Can Nany Make It To The End Of Total Madness Without The Holy Trinity?

The Holy Trinity — Nany, Jenna and Kailah — was totally dismantled during tonight’s Challenge episode. So can Nany, who lost Jailah Jenna and Kailah in one fell swoop in Purgatory against Aneesa and Kaycee, persevere without her alliance? “Kailah really had my back this season — honestly, it sucked to see her go,” the Real World: Las Vegas alum stated post-Bombs Away outcome. “As much as I loved having Jenna here in this game, Jenna never wanted to be here anyways, so it’s almost kind of better that she goes home [and] tries to fix her relationship with Zach. And I can continue to play my game and do what’s best for me.” But what does Nany think the trio will have to do differently in future seasons to make it to the final —...
