There are few things we love more than seeing a celebrity in a high-street item, and recently stylish stars have been flocking to Spanish retailer Mango. Just a few weeks ago, Sienna Miller was spotted in a pair of the brand’s wide-leg trousers and in recent days, Katie Holmes has been seen in their knitted joggers. Holmes paired the cream joggers alongside a check blazer, white long sleeve t-shirt and sneakers, undeniably creating a WFH outfit Zoom dreams are made of. The blazer and white top ensured she looked completely put together on the top half of her body, while the joggers are proof she remained comfortable on the lower half. In the world of beauty – where products promising longer lashes, tighter skin, and fuller lips are launched almost daily – loyalty can be a hard thing to come by. It’s easy to get swept up in the excitement of seeing your favourite influencer wearing the latest cult lipstick and, as such, forget about the lipsticks you’ve loved for so long. I too have fallen hard for the razzle-dazzle of new products in the past; hype, it turns out, is a powerful thing. But the products that are worth knowing are the ones that remain in-demand once the confetti settles and the spotlight dims. As such, I came to the decision that I’d no longer buy new products on impulse. Instead, I think about the products I already use—can they actually be improved on? Is the grass truly greener on ...
In Paris, we have to do a lot of walking. That’s why everything is chic but still very practical. I swear: Every Parisian woman owns trainers, Chelsea boots, and a trench coat, and that’s mostly what we pair with jeans. Recently, I’ve also been seeing lots of cardigans and sleeveless knit vests—which seem like the perfect transitional piece—paired with jeans. The key is really making simple, minimal pieces still feel interesting. For me, it’s all about colour combinations, fabrics, and fit; and then adding a finishing touch with great accessories. If I have a plain T-shirt and jeans with a brown belt, I’ll pair that with a brown coat or match my T-shirt to my outerwear for a tonal look that keeps things modern. I have to say, Gap does some of my favourite T-shirts. They’re slightly thicker...
It seems that serums have stolen some of the spotlight away from moisturisers. There’s always a new serum or treatment that grabs the attention of beauty fans, but when’s the last time you heard someone raving about a moisturiser? Honestly, though, if you find a high-performance moisturiser that you get on with, then your skin is in for a treat. Unfortunately, the most results-driven ones in the bunch can usually be found in anti-ageing category, a term that surely we need to move past now. But as our skin changes over the course of our lives, our product requirements also change. Ultimately, what we’re looking for here are moisturisers that actually do the job and can team up with us to work with our skin concerns. Everyone has their thing, whether that...

Rixo SS21 London Fashion Week looked very different this season, and in a way it also looked the same. As we move deeper into the digital era, and wrestle with the social ills of our times, some fashion brands stepped up to the plate, while others were expectedly tone-deaf. The trends that we’ll be seeing in spring and summer 2021 are always at the centre of the conversation, but this season we’re also exploring how digital limitations and social expectations are creating a greater demand for narrative and vision. “Digital Fashion Week has shifted our focus from how the clothes look and who will be wearing them, to what the clothes mean and who will be making them” London Fashion Week being forced to go fully digital was a new challenge for designers. The virtual ex...
Forget about the leaves falling, the crispness of the air and pumpkin and cinnamon flavoured everything. A sure way to work out if its nearly autumn or not, is in the gradual arrival of dry areas. Lips, knees, elbows and hands, all succumb to autumnal dryness. I’m not sure if it’s all the staying at home or hand-washing, but I’ve been plagued by all of these new patches of dryness. The wonderful upside is that some of my all-time favourite products are lip balms, hand creams and multi-purpose balms. Ever since my mum taught me when I was younger to use hand cream after every single hand wash and before bed, I’ve been hooked. The same goes for lips, I always have at least three lip balms on my person at all times and I’m rotating between a few do-it-...
I’m quite happy to apply products with ingredients that I can’t pronounce or don’t understand to my face, but I always drew the line at ingesting them. I’d roll my eyes at the aisles of supplements in the organic supermarket and ignore my friends’ suggestions about their latest inner-beauty buys. Then, I started working with a nutritional therapist, and, well, I am quite literally eating my words and a whole bunch of supplements. As I’ve been seeing the results in all areas of my life, especially hormone health, I thought I’d make my way into the world of inner/outer-beauty supplements to see what lies there. The Beauty Chef team members are the experts in this field and believe that “beauty begins in the belly.” T...
What’s better than one chic Parisian? How about an entire family of well-dressed French women? I’ve been following sisters Salomé and Tamara Mory on Instagram for quite some time, but I recently discovered that their mother, Elisabeth Mory, is equally stylish. Curious about the Mory matriarch’s style, I interviewed Elizabeth about her favourite autumn outfits and shopping methods. “When it comes to my personal style, I would not describe myself as a fashionista,” Elizabeth told Who What Wear. “I have only a small list of brands that I love and then I buy the same dress, top, or pair of jeans in different versions. I am a less-is-more kind of person. So my ideal outfit is a good pair of jeans, the perfect T-sh...
H&M never holds back when it comes to its Studio Collection, and what a collection it is this season. While we probably all feel a little gloomy right now, this season’s Studio Collection is just the nostalgia fest we need. Heavily influenced by the ’70s, most notably David Bowie‘s style, this is a collection that’s ideal for party season—in whatever form that might take this year. It consists of classic suiting in bold colours such as emerald green and cyan blue. The over-the-top flounced organza blouses in David Bowie–inspired blue, pink, and black are set to be surefire crowd-pleasers. And then there are the (even) more overt party pieces such as a glittery maroon shirt and trousers combo and a blue sequin gown that has emphasised shoulders. Y...
The North Face is teaming up with Gucci for a clothing collaboration that celebrates the great outdoors. The Italian luxury giant teased an upcoming capsule collection with the American outdoor recreation company on Instagram with a series of videos focusing on a white flag with The North Face x Gucci logo. This will be Gucci’s first collaboration with another clothing brand. The North Face is moving into a more premium market with previous collaborations including MM6 Maison Margiela, Junya Watanabe, and streetwear brands like Supreme and Brain Dead. Gucci will be the largest luxury brand to collaborate with The North Face and described their new project as a celebration of the rich heritage of both brands, according to WWD. Gucci is not familiar with designing technical outerwear, ...
It all started with a Ganni statement collar blouse: A vintage-inspired look that graced both Instagram feeds and the streets of fashion week the moment it dropped last year. Over the following 12 months, this niche detail took on a life of its own and gone onto be embraced by high street and high-end designers alike. Each iteration has offered its own spin on the trend, be it ’80s ruffles or a ’70s-inspired dagger collar. All-in-all, it’s the perfect piece to add personality to your autumn ensembles.
