From Hailey to Zendaya, These Are the Boots Fragrances A-Listers Actually Buy

Because A-list celebrities have access to the most expensive and exclusive skincare, makeup and fragrances, it’s easy to assume that they use these expensive beauty products exclusively. And while they most likely have an impressive collection of eye-wateringly expensive fragrances, you might be surprised to hear that some of their favourite perfumes can be found in your local Boots. Yes, really. It turns out that celebrities such as Kate Moss and Gigi Hadid love an affordable fragrance just as much as we do. After all, not everyone can drop £200 on a new fragrance, but affordable fragrances on the other hand allow you to build a fragrance wardrobe over time. So you can have an everyday signature scent for the daytime and then opt for something a little more excit...

This Easy Dress Trend Is the Most Expensive-Looking Around

Luckily, the high street has cottoned on to how great this effortless dress style is, and this summer we’re seeing a number of similar, yet equally expensive-looking styles pop up at some of our go-to brands. COS, Arket and & Other Stories have the best versions in my opinion, but there’s also iterations at H&M, and some more premium options at Reformation. Coming in mostly black, white and neutral colours, this dress is a minimalist’s dream, and the kind of style even non-dress people can get on board with.   Keep scrolling to shop the best tank top dresses our editors are adding to their carts as we speak… You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. The Top 7 Summer Trends, According to J.Crew’s TikTok-Viral Head Designer

“The whole point of classics is that they will never go out of style, and J.Crew is synonymous with pieces that you will wear season after season, every year. The design team is constantly refining the classics to make sure the proportions feel modern. Clothes do have personality if you can believe it, and these small tweaks can make a big difference.” “For example,” she continued, “giving the relaxed-fit shirt just the amount of oversize shape that it reads cool but still flattering for example is something we work on constantly, and makes all of the difference in your experience of wearing it. Also taking a classic fabric like linen and putting it in a bloomer shape gives new life to a very iconic ‘coastal grandmother‘ fabric.” You Deserve t...

I’m a Plus-Size Model Who Wears What I Want, When I Want

For as long as I can remember, I have loved fashion. I would always watch my mum getting ready to go out, totally fascinated by her and the creative way she would put outfits together. Even at a young age, I knew she was incredibly stylish. During my formative teenage years, I would always ask to borrow my mum’s clothes from the ‘80s and at only 11 years old I had already decided that my ambition in life was to become a fashion designer in order to make my own creations. I simply adored clothes but as I travelled through the secondary school system, disordered eating put paid to that passion and my dream of pursuing a career in the industry started to fizzle out. I struggled to accept my body and did not like the way I looked in clothes—putting on any outfit, it didn’t matter what, made me...

42 of the Best New-In Pieces From Mango, COS, & Other Stories and Arket

COS’s star buys for spring/summer are the illustrious waistcoat and tailored trousers (great together, brilliant apart), which look and feel just as luxe in real life. Meanwhile, over at Arket, basics (namely T-shirts and denim) are the pieces to zone in on first. They’re crafted from higher-quality materials renowned in the fashion industry to withstand years of wear. Its arsenal exceeds basics, and for summer, you’ll find dresses aplenty, leather accessories and chic swimsuits. Fabric is something I’m most intrigued by, and & Other Stories, Arket and COS are appeasing the more conscious shoppers among us. With innovative textiles such as Naia and the increased use of Lyocell, the materials are produced more consciously and with longe...

A French Designer Told Me the Top 5 Jewellery Trends for 2022

With so many jewellery trends out there, it can be a tad overwhelming to sort through the noise. That’s why I love to tap experts in the field to offer their professional (and impeccably stylish) takes. For this story, I’ve interviewed Caroline Muller, co-founder of Paris-based jewellery boutique Mad Lords. She’s expertly curated her beautiful boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré with a mix of French and American brands—including Jacquie Aiche, Hoorsenbuhs, Maria Tash, Foundrae, and more.  As she previously worked for LVMH and Ralph Lauren, it’s safe to say Muller knows a thing or two about luxury style. In addition to the Paris location, Muller and her husband launched stores in Deauville and Saint-Tropez. Scroll down to read about and shop he...

The Shoe Trend Everyone’s Wearing With Jeans, Dresses and Bikinis

Every fashion editor can tell you that shoes are arguably the most important (and often overlooked) part of what makes or breaks an outfit. We scour through Instagram and watch endless looks come down the runway, but if the shoes aren’t right, it’s lost its luster in a matter of seconds. Call us extra if you will, but I know that we aren’t the only shoe-obsessed people out there—the fashion set and our dear readers (yes, you) are known to love a good pair of shoes just as much as we do. So when it comes to shoes that have our stamp of approval, which ones are currently top of mind for us? While there’s always a roaster of great shoe trends worth mentioning, none have held our attention as much as the return of platform sandals.  Platforms ma...

Bra-Size Calculator: How to Find Out Your Real Cup Size

Once you’ve done the band, then you want to measure the fullest part of your bust. Gently take the tape measure and measure it in inches as well. Then comes the slightly tricky bit: To work out what your cup size is, you want to subtract your band size from your bust size. From the difference between the two sizes, you can work out your cup. If the difference is less than 1, then it’s AA; 1 means A; 2 means B; 3 means C; 4 means D; 5 means DD; and so on. You’ll still need your band measurement to give you the number preceding the letter. For example, if your band size is 34 but your bust size is 37, then your bra size is 34C (difference of 3, again, means it’s a C-cup). Of course, it’s worth mentioning that bras can fit differently according to different brand...

I Basically Live in H&M, COS and Arket Pieces—These New Items Are So Good

As a fashion editor, I’ve become quite a picky high-street shopper. We’re in a very lucky position in this job that we get to see some of the most luxurious fashion shows in the world up close, and sometimes popping to Zara just doesn’t cut it. It makes it rather difficult to shop within my budget, especially when, I’ll admit, I also have expensive taste. But there are a few affordable brands I do turn to that I know I can rely on for expensive-looking buys every season. Arket, COS and H&M are three of my most-frequented, online and in-store.  What they all have in common is that they focus on doing those timeless staples really well. H&M may have younger and more trend-led sections, but I’ve learnt how to filter down and spot a more premium piece from a mile away. Think linen...

Zendaya Wore Baggy Trousers With the Most Timeless Flat-Shoe Trend in Existence

Zendaya certainly knows how to command attention on a red carpet, but don’t sleep on her casual style. While her Valentino dresses and Bulgari jewels might be the furthest thing from relatable, many of her off-duty looks are unquestionably wearable—including her most recent. On July 8, Zendaya was photographed in New York City visiting the set of Tom Holland’s new series, The Crowded Room.  Zendaya knows how to mix trendy and timeless pieces with aplomb. She wore very of-the-moment baggy trousers with two classic items: a black tank top and black loafers. You can never go wrong with flat loafers, as they’re one of the most timeless shoe styles out there. Scroll down to see Zendaya’s new outfit and shop for similar pieces.  You Deserve t...

H&M’s Linen Collection Is Easily the Most Expensive-Looking This Summer

A few years ago, as I fell head first into my 30s, I made a pact with myself to try to be the kind of chic woman who wears linen all summer long. You know the type. Think Meryl Streep or Diane Keaton in every Nancy Meyers movie (goals)—the kind who floats down to the farmers market every weekend with a basket bag slung over her arm and a linen shirt billowing behind her. Okay, that part might be slightly more difficult to re-create while living in London, but the effortlessness of a linen outfit is something we can all realistically achieve. There’s just something about a linen dress, button-down or pair of trousers that feels so timeless, ageless and polished—am I right? And with the weather hitting record highs right now, I can practically feel myself being drawn to the elegance of...

Cottagecore Isn’t Going Anywhere—These 24 Dresses Prove It

Some styles come and go, but the really great ones return year after year to prove their sartorial worth. And this is exactly what has happened this summer with a particular trend. If the sky-high hemlines of the Y2K return aren’t quite your cup of tea, then you’ll be pleased with the latest news: Cottagecore is here to stay.  For the past few years, this ethereal style has cropped up to offer a soft alternative to some of the more daring trends served up on the runway. It’s easy to see why we keep returning to this movement; it is nostalgic, loans itself to every season, from spring through to autumn, and looks just as chic on a budget. Inspired by a romanticised idea of country life, cottagecore takes its fashion form through delicate ...
