Report: Everton now leading the race to sign £18m star…despite interest from PL rival

Everton are leading the race to sign Jean-Clair Todibo, according to reports from Le 10 Sport.  A host of clubs including Napoli and Fulham have shown interest in Todibo. But it seems the Toffees are leading the way for his signature. Todibo has been made available to loan by Barcelona, and it seems that Everton are pushing hard to secure his signature before the end of the transfer window. This has been an excellent transfer window for the Toffees, with Carlo Ancelotti bolstering the midfield with the signings of Allan, James Rodriguez, and Abdoulaye Doucoure. Everton have still not brought in the centre-back they badly need. They were heavily linked with Gabriel this summer but the Brazilian joined Arsenal instead. The Toffees were interested to sign Fikayo Tomori, but he ...

Report: Chelsea forward open to joining Bayern Munich before transfer deadline

Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi is open to the prospect of joining Bayern Munich before the international transfer window closes next week, a report from Sky Germany claims. The England international was heavily linked with a move to the Bavarian giants in January 2019 and he had reportedly agreed to personal terms with the club. However, the move failed to materialise after the Blues rejected a series of offers. Hudson-Odoi has since put pen-to-paper on a long-term deal with the west London outfit, but he has yet to cement a regular starting role. The teenager has made just eight starts in the Premier League since Frank Lampard took charge as the manager last term. Hence, it is unsurprising that he has been associated with a possible exit and it is reported that Bayern could revive the...

Report: West Ham United make £22.8m bid for versatile Serie A defender

West Ham United have made a bid to land the signature of Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina, Gianluca di Marzio reports. The Hammers have experienced a disappointing summer transfer window and they have yet to make any new additions to the first-team squad. Earlier this month, they were eager to sign James Tarkowski from Burnley to strengthen the central defensive position, but their final offer of £30m was snubbed by the Clarets. The east London outfit thereafter looked at the possibility of signing Wesley Fofana from Saint-Etienne, but they have missed out on his services to Leicester City. The club are still on the search for a new player to bolster the heart of their backline and it is now reported that they have made a formal bid for Milenkovic. David Moyes’ have placed a&nbs...

Sessegnon & some Spurs stars left in stitches after what Dier did with MOTM award

Tottenham Hotspur secured a berth in the League Cup quarter-finals following last night’s win over Chelsea, and Eric Dier was named the official man of the match. The England international put in an impressive shift just two days after playing 90 minutes against Newcastle United. Dier also caught the eyes of the viewers after sprinting off the pitch into the dressing room. The Tottenham star was followed quickly by boss Jose Mourinho and both re-emerged a couple of minutes later. Dier desperately needed the toilet and couldn’t afford to not answer the call of nature, and he took his award to the restroom to snap, joking that it was the real MOTM. It left the likes of Ryan Sessegnon in stitches, and here is how the left-back and some Spurs stars reacted to the snap on Instagram: Dier used t...

Report confirms massive Manchester United bid for 20-goal star

Manchester United have had a bid rejected for the Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho. According to Sky Sports, the offer was worth around £73 million, rising up to £91.3 million with add ons. Apparently, the German club value the player at £108 million and they’re not willing to lower their asking price. Initially, Dortmund claimed that they would only sell the player if there is an acceptable offer on the table by the 10th of August. That deadline has now passed and it will be interesting to see if they are willing to sell the winger so late in the window. Even if Dortmund receive their asking price, they will struggle to find a proper replacement for a world-class player like Jadon Sancho with just a few days left in the transfer window. Ideally, the German outfit should look to hold ...

Leeds have been linked with a move for the Real Madrid youngster Cesar Gelabert. According to reports (h/t Sportwitness), Leeds and Arsenal have made efforts to sign the player but those approaches have been rebuffed. Real Madrid are not keen on selling the youngster this summer. The 19-year-old is highly rated in Spain and he has a big future ahead of himself. It is understandable why the Spanish giants want to hold on to him. It will be interesting to see if they are willing to loan the player out in the coming seasons. Gelabert needs to play regularly in order to continue his development and he is unlikely to get that opportunity at Real Madrid because of the number of established internationals at Zidane’s disposal. A move to Leeds or Arsenal could be beneficial for the player’s career...
