A selection of Arsenal fans have not welcomed the prospect of Barcelona goalkeeper Neto joining the club this summer. The Brazilian was heavily linked with the Gunners in January before they signed Mat Ryan on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion. Ryan is unlikely to rejoin them this summer, and it has recently been reported that the club are still interested in Neto’s services. The club had the option to buy him for £18m, but managed to negotiate a lesser fee by accepting to include a 50 per cent sell-on clause. Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with a move for the Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiyasu in recent weeks.
