Named the Giulia SWB Zagato, this one-off takes the iconic stylings of classic Alfa Romeos like the Sprint Zagato and TZ3, and updates it for 2023. Crafted for one lucky Alfa Romeo collector in Germany, the one-of-one sports car builds on the Giorgio platform and features a distinct snout, extra wide grille, carbon fiber bodywork, a dual exhaust, boomerang taillights, headlights borrowed from the Tonale, and a large clamshell hood. RM Sotheby’s is selling almost 100 cars in its upcoming 10th annual Paris auction, which features standout vehicles including the 1964 Porsche 904 GTS that highlights the auction. After the German automaker pulled out of Formula 1 in 1962, Porsche decided to focus on sports cars and the GT competition, which later led to the 904. The car was a successor to the Porsche 718 ad even won several events in its rookie season. The car itself was the first of just 108 examples ever made, excluding a couple of prototype specimens. Carwow has just reviewed McMurtry Automotive’s Speirling hypercar and the results are impressive. Irish for “thunderstorm,” the electric-powered Speirling speedster caught the attention of the automotive world in June when it broke the Goodwood Festival of Speed hill climb record — even beating out an F1 race car. The Speirling features two electric motors that produce 1,000hp, and is matched to an incredibly light carbon-fiber monocoque chassis that weighs just under 1000kg. Everrati has confirmed its next classic car modification project will be on the Porsche 911 from the 964 generation. Teaming up with Aria Group in California, the new vehicle, now doused in a mesmerizing Mexico Blue hue, will mark Everrati’s first foray into the US market. Previously, the UK-based car manufacturer has worked on a Land Rover Defender Series IIA, where they successfully transformed the vehicle into an EV. RM Sotheby’s has just announced that the Bugatti Chiron Profilée will be offered for sale at auction in Paris on February 1, 2023. The Profilée is an automotive showpiece and is designed with a sweeping fixed tail at the rear — it’s designed to provide stability and control, even when the car is performing at its top speed of 380 km/h. Additionally, the tail also uses negative pressure to draw hot air out of the engine compartment through the use of two interior tunnels in the high-temperature carbon wing. United Kingdom-based automobile manufacturer Everrati is expanding its practice of converting classic cars into electronic vehicles by bringing Land Rover into the fold. Leading the charge is the conversation of Land Rover’s Defender Series IIA. With zero carbon emissions, the new modified EV can reach 60 mph in 13 seconds when compared to the original 23 seconds alongside 150 BHP and 300 NM of torque.
