BRABUS has added to its lineup of supercars with the BRABUS P 900 Rocket Edition. Unveiled to the world at the Monaco Yacht Show, the pickup truck is a “one of ten” model created on a basis provided by a factory-fresh Mercedes-Benz AMG G63. With an output of 900 hp (662 kW), the powerful Rocket Edition boasts a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h). The model carries a tailor-made truck bed situated behind a four-seat cab with bedsides constructed out of carbon. The widebody version of the vehicle features carbon wheels developed in partnership with Continental for an elevated look and street-ready performance. Back in 2019, Mercedes-Benz sent a jolt through the automotive industry when they announced that they were working on a zero-emission version of their G-Class SUV dubbed the EQG. Now, CEO Ola Källenius has provided more info on when, exactly the electric G-Class would become available to the general public. Per a report from Autoblog, Källenius told members of the media that the special vehicle should be brought to market by the end of 2024. Bonham’s Goodwood Revival auction is putting up a one-of-a-kind 2013 Land Rover Defender. The highly-modified motor was inspired by the twin-rotor Chinook helicopter and is estimated to auction for £120,000 and £180,000 GBP ($138,000 to $207 USD). This specific Q40 Defender 110 XS was built by the British automotive design company, Tecniq. The newly modified car is auctioned to raise money for the Royal Air Forces Association, a charity that helps provide welfare support for families of RAF members. Dutch company U-Boat Worx has begun volume production of its NEMO 1 (one-seater) and NEMO 2 (two-seater) submersibles, the only private production-built submarines in the world. Measuring just five feet tall, less than eight feet wide, and nine feet long, the miniature NEMO submarines are the lightest manned submersibles available and can be moved around relatively easily to be housed on land, at a boat dock, or on a yacht. At full charge, the NEMO crafts operate up to eight hours at speeds of 3 knots and can dive up to 100 meters. In-cabin speakers are installed in the transparent domed cockpit and upgrades are available including a robotic arm for catching objects and sonar systems. Honda has an ambitious aim to further electric motorcycles over the course of the next few years. The company has announced its intent to roll out 10 or more commuter and FUN electric motorcycle models across the world by 2025 alone. The news comes as part of Honda’s overarching goal to achieve carbon neutrality for all of its motorcycles by the 2040s. As the largest motorcycle manufacturer globally, the company intends to focus on environmental strategies for the motorcycle business and the advancement of internal combustion engines. Made for 911 owners who are inseparable from their vehicles, the Tequipment Roof Tent fits a number of 911 models and sees a hard case shell design developed at Porsche’s Weissach center. With a total weight of 58kg, the roof tent can support up to 140kg on the 911, Taycan, and Cayenne Coupe, or 190kg on the larger Taycan Cross Turismo, Macan, Cayenne SUV, and Taycan Sport Turismo. The tent itself features a skylight window, two side windows, an elevated reclining position, an insect screen, and a blackout screen.
