Toyota is continuing to expand on its Nightshade Edition collection by giving the 2023 Venza its blacked-out trim. As its name suggests, the package gives the hybrid SUV an even sleeker look by changing up some of its accenting. A new black acrylic grille trim now sits up front paired with smoked chrome extended bumpers at the front and rear, while the side mirror caps, door handles, shark fin antenna and rocker panels have all been finished in gloss black as well. The wheels have been upgraded to 19-inch gloss black models found on both the XLE and Limited trims, and you’ll have three premium exterior tones to choose from: “Celestial Black,” “Ruby Flare Red” and “Wind Chill Pearl.” Performance-wise, the Nightshade Edition Venza will retain the 2.5...
MANHART continues to branch out from its usual selection of BMWs with its latest project, the CRT 800, otherwise known as its modification of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupé. In standard form, the SUV’s four-liter bi-turbo V8 produces 550 HP and 770 Nm of torque. However, MANHART takes this to the extreme, adding turbo upgrades, a MANHART intercooler, and software optimization of either ECU remapping or MANHART’s MH tronik auxiliary control unit, to create an SUV that now produces 807 HP and 1,090 Nm of maximum torque. Couple this with the four 100-millimeter tailpipes at the rear, and you can expect the car’s standard sprint of 3.9 seconds to 62 MPH to be slashed considerably. Elsewhere around the car, you’ll find MANHART’s signature black and gold livery, 22...

With his first season signed to the Jordan Brand officially underway, the imprint has prepared something incredibly special for him to get behind the wheel of for the AdventHealth 400 this weekend at Kansas Speedway: a race car inspired by the classic Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement.” The sneaker’s signature elephant print immediately captures your attention here as it decorates the sides panels and tips of the hood. Bulls-inspired red accents outfit the oversized Jumpman logos that adorn the hood and sprawl in small fashion around the Toyota-manufactured car and the various “45” hits on the roof and side panels. ...

There’s a reason why Land Rover shifted 95,385 cars in Q1 2021 alone: the product line-up is good. The entry-level Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport are versatile compact SUVs, while a fully-fledged Discovery or the nostalgia-driven Defender are more than capable of tackling anything that comes their way. A Range Rover Sport and the swoopy Velar are for a younger audience seeking statement-making dynamism and looks, respectively, and then there’s Land Rover Range Rover’s halo model: the Range Rover. When the Range Rover Series 1 launched in 1970 it was tagged with the slogan “A Car For All Reasons.” Over the last five decades, statements such as “Above and Beyond,” “The Power to Take You Anywhere” and “The Go-Anywhere Vehicle” have all been attributed to Land Rover Range R...
Tesla is recalling 130,000 vehicles in the United States due to a software issue, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced. The NHTSA published a notice on Tuesday detailing the recall, which covers Tesla’s Model S and Model X from 2021 and 2022, as well as its 2022 Model 3 and Model Y. The issue with the vehicles is a software bug in its infotainment system, resulting in overheating that makes the processor lag or restart. As a result, the system may not be able to display necessary images. “A lagging or restarting CPU may prevent the center screen from displaying the rearview camera image, gear selection, windshield visibility control settings, and warning lights, increasing the risk of a crash,” the NHTSA says in the notice. Tesla told the NHTSA that th...
Exterior automotive designer Alexis Poncelet has rendered a futuristic Honda “HR-X Delsol” concept, imagining a sleek post-apocalyptic vehicle that straddles the line between a space rover, Tesla’s Cybertruck, and a futuristic electric racer. “Honda brought a meaningful and toyish approach recently,” wrote Poncelet in an introductory post. The HR-X Delsol arrives with “tiny utility inspired by the charm of Honda’s e-drag racer, the 3-seater front row from the Honda FR-V, and the silhouette & deck from the CRX Delsol. The concept “would be a new segment that makes the brand stand even more apart,” Poncelet adds. The two-door electric pickup arrives in a dark metallic colorway with distinct off-road caged rims and a futuristic faux gr...
This is the all-new Range Rover Sport. Launched today, this 2023 model year takes everything the last Range Rover Sport did, and did so well, and refines it. Here, Land Rover Range Rover offers an entirely new car that’s muscular, dynamic, modern, sophisticated, prominent, rugged and more, giving the car its deserved title of a “do anything, go anywhere” type of machine. The new Range Rover Sport looks familiar, in the same way that the new flagship Range Rover also looks like a modernized, updated refresh to the outgoing model. At the front of the new Sport, you’ll notice things are elongated — ironically, a reductive design approach allowed the designers to play with proportions in more intelligent ways, adding thinner but wider headlights to make the front ...
