Italian luxury vehicle company Maserati has officially announced that it will go completely electric by 2025. To begin the process, Maserati is debuting its first electric vehicle model by 2023, starting with the GranTurismo “Folgore.” The EV is slated to be a 1,200 hp roadster and will run on an 800-volt battery. The automotive can hit a top speed of 190 mph as well as a sub-3-second 0-60. Alongside the GranTurismo, the new Grecale crossover is set to receive an electrified version that same year, for the SUV and Grancabrio GT. EV variants of the MC20, Quattroporte and the Levante SUV will also be debuted in 2025. While images of Sean Wotherspoon‘s eye-catching custom Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo have been circulating for some time now, the car’s recent appearance at SXSW in Texas offers a full look at the car’s unique exterior paintwork. Arriving as part of the “Porsche Unseen” series, the fully-electric custom Taycan station wagon features similar patchwork color blocking found in Wotherspoon’s footwear collaborations and apparel. After previewing the fully-electric A6 sedan back in April last year, Audi has now followed up with a new station wagon concept dubbed the A6 Avant E-Tron. Built around the same modular Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture that the automaker has jointly developed with sister brand Porsche, the new Avant concept carries very similar design cues as the standard A6. Mercedes-Benz has teased its fans with a first look reveal of the highly-anticipated 2023 EQS SUV interior ahead of its official debut next month. While not much of the interior has been changed from previous models, the vehicle has maintained its optional 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen that spans across the entire front cabin width of the car. The mammoth screen boasts a 12.3-inch OLED display that allows the front passenger to access entertainment such as video content while the car is in motion. Much to its fans’ disappointment, the German marque BMW has never created an M3 Touring wagon — until now. In a YouTube video posted earlier this week, BMW lifted the cover on its upcoming M3 Touring, which combines the latest-generation G80 M3’s front with a new wagon rear-end. As the video shows, the M3 Wagon is expected to be just as capable as the current sedan M3 and its M4 counterpart around the Nürburgring, but it should also be more practical than its siblings. Daniel Arsham continues to step out of the box for his creations, this time collaborating with coveted streetwear design brand Stone Island on a customized Porsche 930 and a Mercedes Unimog 404. The vehicles are reimagined for all-terrain purposes using reimagined heritage Stone Island fabrics for the aesthetic. The project, titled Safari first features a Leh Keen-built Porsche. The car uses a 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo as its based and is customized so that it is suitable for off-road use. The Nissan Skyline and subsequent R35-era GT-R is a legend in the automotive world, adorned by millions of petrolheads around the world and lauded as one of the greatest series of cars to ever be made, but things are about to change as it’s just been confirmed the GT-R is being killed off in Europe. Exclusively and officially confirmed by CarScoops, it states that a Nissan U.K. spokesperson has told the publication that European GT-R production will come to an end in March 2022. Aptly dubbed the FTR Championship Edition, the new bike is inspired by the FTR750 and sports a sleek black body heavily accented with red components and livery to bring out a classic racing aesthetic. On the fuel tank is a commemorative Indian Motorcycle Racing bezel detailing each year the company has won the American Flat Track championship, from 2017 all the way through to 2021.
