Tesla Hikes Prices Across Its EV Lineup

Tesla has raised the prices of its electric vehicles, marking the second hike within the month. Last week, the automaker tacked on an additional $1,000 USD to a few of its long-range models. In an overnight update, Tesla once again raised its prices. The cheapest car to come out of the automaker, the Model 3, went up $2,000 USD and now starts at $47,000 USD. Other increases include the Model 3 Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive, now $2,500 USD more expensive at $54,490 USD, and the Performance version, which will cost drivers an additional $3,000 USD at $61,990 USD. The prices of Tesla vehicles have been gradually increasing throughout 2021, so this latest move isn’t entirely surprising. Elon Musk recently hinted at a potential hike on Twitter, writing that Tesla and SpaceX are seeing a “significa...

Aston Martin’s New V12 Vantage Has Been Revealed — And It’s Already Sold Out

Aston Martin and a thumping V12 engine go hand-in-hand, and now it has planted this behemoth of a power source into the Vantage. The all-new V12 Vantage follows on from the highly sought-after previous generation V12 Vantage, and like that model, this new iteration is a completely different beast from its V8-powered sibling. This is the last time Aston Martin’s 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 will be found in any of its production cars, and coupling that with the fact only 333 units of the new V12 Vantage are set to be made makes for an incredibly special and rare car. In addition, the new model is the most powerful Vantage ever made, offering 700 PS and 753 Nm of torque which results in the rear-wheel-drive coupe hitting 0-60 MPH in 3.4 seconds before going onto a top speed of 200 M...

Cadillac will soon be announcing the full specs for its 2023 Escalade-V in the coming months. The American automaker first unveiled the SUV back in January with a series of images (which you can view above), and while most of its details have yet to be revealed, the company has called it the “ultimate expression of Cadillac design, performance and technology, and the purest expression of the passion that exists at the core of the Cadillac brand.” From what we’ve seen so far, the new Escalade-V takes on a similar design aesthetic as the Escalade Sport and Sport Platinum, with a mesh grille up front and blacked-out accents all across. You’ll also find lightweight wheels paired with a premium braking system and bright red calipers in line with its sporty nature, comple...

Honda Brings Back its ST125 Dax Mini Bike

Honda has announced the revival of its 1969 Dax ST125 mini-motorcycle for Europe. The name “Dax” is derived from “Dachshund,” the petite dog breed also known as the sausage dog. The 2023 Dax bike is defined by a distinct T-shaped steel frame chassis, thick leather seat, tall handlebars, 31mm forks, 12-inch five-spoke wheels, and a raised muffler design. Powering the bike is a 124cc air-cooled SOHC two-valve engine inherited from fellow Honda miniMOTO Super Cub, capable of reaching up to 55 mph at an output of just 9.3 horsepower. Honda also claims the tiny 1.5-gallon fuel tank can run up to 150 miles. Additional fea...

Mansory Breathes a New Life Into the Ferrari Roma

Ferrari unveiled the Roma in 2019, positioning the two-door coupe as its entry-level grand tourer-style supercar for a more discerning daily driver as opposed to one that might opt for the 812 Superfast for example, but now Mansory has stepped in to combine its world with the laid back Ferrari for something utterly wild. Introducing the customized model today, Mansory’s take on the Roma sees a complete vehicle overhaul that makes it far from the original model. Here, a body kit has been added to every inch of the Roma, notably sporting a new carbon fiber front hood, a redesigned front end with carbon canards, sides with new skirts and carbon slats in the fenders and doors, new wing mirrors, and a completely revised rear end that comprises a new lip spoiler and a huge F1-inspired rear...

Volvo Is Testing Wireless Charging Technology With New Fleet of XC40 Recharge EVs

Volvo will soon be testing out wireless charging for its XC40 Recharge EV fleet in Gothenburg, Sweden in partnership with taxi company Cabonline. Over the course of three years, Volvo will be using new wireless chargers in the Gothenburg Green City Zone that have been delivered by Momentum Dynamics, a firm specializing in the area. Compatible vehicles will simply have to park over a charging pad that’s been embedded in the street and the charging will begin automatically, sending energy through the pad to a receiver unit in the car. To help drivers align with the pad, the XC40 Recharge fleet will also be equipped with 360-degree cameras. Volvo says that the charging pads can deliver a flow of 40kW, making it four times faster than a wired 11kW AC charger and almost as fast as a wired...

Maserati Teases Its Redesigned GranTurismo for 2022

Teaser images of Maserati‘s redesigned GranTurismo for 2022 have now surfaced. The new photographs offer the best look yet at the upcoming two-door coupe, as its previous appearances were masked even more heavily by either camouflage patterns or a camouflaged Alfa Romeo Giulia body kit. Other details revolving around the four-seater remain scarce, however, as Maserati has largely kept its specs under wraps. Despite this, industry experts expect the new car to come with either a brand new V8 engine or a detuned version of the V6 in the MC20, which made its debut roughly two years ago. Of course, with current trends moving towards EVs, there are also rumors that it could sport an electric or hybrid powertrain, but there’s no confirmation either way from the Italian automaker yet....
