For its first foray into electric cars, British luxury automaker Lotus introduces a striking all-electric Hyper-SUV named the “Eletre.” The 4WD Eletre is powered by a 100kWh battery equipped with fast-charging capabilities that deliver 248 miles of range in just 20 minutes. The Lamborghini Urus has become a symbol of showboating among the car community — if you want an SUV larger and louder than life, this is the one. For Platinum Motorsport this wasn’t enough, so the L.A-based auto shop has decked its matte gray iteration in a host of modified parts to truly stand out. Starting with the unavoidable, the Urus now wears a 1016 Industries wide body kit that’s been wrapped. MANHART is best known for modifying fast German cars such as the BMW M5, Porsche 911 Turbo S, and the new Mercedes-AMG SL, but sometimes it also turns its hand to something a bit more familiar such as the BMW M135i xDrive. While by no means slow, it’s a switch up from its usual roster of tuned cars, taking on one of the most formidable hot hatches money can buy today. Dubbed the MANHART MH1 350, the M135i finds its two-liter twin-turbocharged four-pot engine get a boost from 306 HP and 450 Nm of torque to 350 HP and 524 Nm, resulting in enough torque to make the car pull from all speeds. Following on from its real-life BMW M135i xDrive build, the tuning company MANHART has now teased its take on the upcoming Range Rover. As of writing, the new Range Rover isn’t officially available — it is, however, expected to launch sometime later this year in various guises, ahead of 2024’s all-electric version. The conceptual artist Khyzyl Saleem brought us the Porsche 992-generation 911 GT3-inspired Volkswagen Beetle earlier this month, and now the renderer continues to enhance beloved cars for Hagerty, presenting models such as his custom Nissan 400Z. This year’s Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) will see a Mitsubishi Triton one-ton pick-up truck compete in the gruelling South East Asian off-road motorsport event. Measuring 5.31 meters long with almost 20 inches of ground clearance, the truck is one of Brabus’ most outrageous builds to date, but it does come with plenty of goodies to make it more than just a showboating exercise.
