A new image circulating online appears to show the upcoming, Ferrari Purosangue, the Italian automaker’s first-ever SUV set to officially debut later this year. First images of the Purosangue, which look shot on the floor of Ferrari’s production facility in Maranello, show the sportscar in silver with a long nose and sharply trimmed split headlights reminiscent of the Ferrari Roma and SF90 Stradale. A rear shot reveals a full-length light bar connecting the taillights, and a large diffuser with four tailpipes. While exact specs have been kept tightly under wraps, there’s speculation that drivers will be able to choose between a naturally aspirated V-12 or a V-6 hybrid power unit. Ducati has revealed its new limited edition XDaviel Nera Edition motorcycle. The motorbike manufacturer partners with Italian furniture company Poltrona Frau to realize the new luxury-performance offering which will be limited to just 500 units. Founded in 1912, Poltrona Frau is known for its sleek leather goods in which 95% of the company’s products are made by hand. Following its previous Lucid vs. Tesla race, The Tesla Model S Plaid, Lucid Air Dream Edition and Porsche Taycan Turbo S are put to the test to see which car is the closest to becoming the world’s fastest EV sedan. Tesla‘s premium sedan comes out on top, winning all three races. The Tesla Model S Plaid has a refreshed 1020 horsepower from its three electric motors, coming in at only 4,800 lbs, weighing much less than the Lucid and the Taycan. Nippon Airways ANA has just released a follow-up to its first Demon Slayer-themed B-767 jet due to the popularity of the anime. While the first Jet‘s graphics — launched in January — celebrate the main heroes Tanijiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Hashibira, this new “Kimetsu no Yaiba Jet Two” focuses on the nine Pillars (Hashira). On top of the themed exterior, other details like Rengoku’s bento box as an in-flight meal, Demon Slayer-themed flight accessories, programming, and uniforms make this the complete Demon Slayer flight experience. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has officially announced a new investigation into Tesla‘s phantom braking issue. In the span of nine months, the NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) has recently received “354 complaints alleging unexpected brake activation in 2021-2022 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles.” Due to these claims the ODI has launched a preliminary investigation to “determine” the root cause of the problem and assess the situation before taking the next steps. The British marque McLaren is known for building some of the most brutal super and hypercars in the entire automotive industry, but when it revealed the Sabre back in 2020, the world was not prepared for what it had to offer. Now, this one-of-15 example has appeared on the secondary market for an undisclosed price — more on that later. Built as part of McLaren’s Ultimate Series, which also presents the Senna, the 15 Sabres are all McLaren Special Operations (MSO) orders which means no two are the same. A cargo ship named The Felicity Ace has caught fire in the Atlantic Ocean near The Azores, an autonomous region of Portugal. The good news is that the ship’s 22 crew members were all rescued by the Portuguese Navy and Air Force, but it’s the ship’s cargo that has Twitter users aghast — The Felicity Ace was transporting almost 4,000 vehicles (1,100 of them being Porsche) from the Volkswagen Group — this includes vehicles under the brands Audi, Bentley, and Lamborghini. These cars were headed for Texas, and it has been confirmed that at least 100 of them are at risk of fire damage.
