This new build takes the commuter motorcycle and adds off-road, Baja-inspired elements. Created for a friend that is a photographer by profession, the client requested a modest upgrade for the outdoors without breaking the bank. Updates to this Honda Cub arrive in the form of mud tires, a Moriwaki exhaust, a larger rear rack, new micro switches, a custom Alcantara diamond-stitched seat, minimal blinkers and taillight, a K-Speed intake cover, crash bars, and Onehandmade’s signature Big Eye yellow dual headlights. As 2021 comes to a close, Tesla has released its annual holiday software update. On Monday, the company introduced new driving features, as well as a few integrations just for fun, across Tesla models, Electrek reported. To help with blind spots, Tesla has unveiled a tool that was originally requested by customers last year. Whenever a driver uses a turn signal, the video screen will automatically show a live camera feed of the car’s blind spots. The holiday update has streamlined controls overall, making windshield wipers, charging and trip and odometer information all more accessible. After announcing their partnership back in May, Uber and Arrival have now unveiled the Arrival Car, a collaborative EV designed specifically for ridesharing. Designed primarily with functionality and comfort in mind, the new vehicle carries a very simple design on its exterior, largely resembling a minivan with a slightly more futuristic twist. An elongated windshield extends upwards to cover the length of the roof, giving both the driver and passengers a roomier and more relaxed riding experience, while a boxed rear provides enough luggage space for two large suitcases and two smaller ones. Nissan U.K. is celebrating 35 years of production at its Sunderland plant with an electrified restomod based on the Bluebird — the first car to roll out of the factory in 1986 — dubbed the “Newbird.” Driven purely by electricity using the same powertrain from the Nissan LEAF, the Newbird features 40kWh batteries and a custom suspension, as well as a host of contemporary updates, to bring the Bluebird into the 21st century. Continuing to expand on its Heritage Edition series, Ford has now created a version of its iconic GT in a special livery paying tribute to its fruitful partnership with Alan Mann Racing in the ’60s. Six more women have now come forward and joined the ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit against Elon Musk‘s electric car company Tesla. The lawsuit was initially filed by a production associate at the automaker’s Fremont plant named Jessica Barraza, who claimed that she was subject to “nightmarish” working conditions at the factory, which resembled “a crude, archaic construction site or frat house.” In one scenario, Barraza claims that a supervisor refused to act when she told him a co-worker had been staring at her breasts, instead of saying “Maybe you shouldn’t wear shirts that draw attention to your chest.” She was wearing a work shirt provided by the company at the time.
