Tesla has increased prices for all four of its current production EVs once again, this time raising them by quite a significant amount. According to new reports, Elon Musk‘s company has hiked up prices for both the Model 3 and Model Y by $2,000 USD, giving them starting prices now at $43,990 USD and $56,990 USD respectively. The Model S and Model X receive even bigger increases, going up by $5,000 USD to now $94,990 USD and $104,990 USD. Price hikes aside, delivery times for new orders have now been hit with long delays as well. Model 3 orders won’t arrive until June for those purchasing the larger wheeled variant, while its standard version will come as late as September. Tesla is reportedly holding on to its initial stake in Bitcoin after the announcement of the cryptocurrency‘s most recent spike. According to Bloomberg, the electric vehicles manufacturer previously declared that it had invested $1.5 billion USD into Bitcoin, but sold 10% of its stake back in April. The RS moniker has previously been reserved exclusively for the German marque’s 911 range, producing models such as the GT3 RS and the rare GT2 RS line-up. Today, Porsche shows the upcoming 718 Cayman GT4 RS taking on the infamous Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuit, tackling the track in just 7:09.300 minutes. Amazon‘s autonomous vehicle company Zoox will be testing its cars in Seattle, marking the third city it has entered after San Francisco and Las Vegas. The company also plans on opening a new office in Seattle following the testing. Zoox is currently set to deploy a small number of its automobiles to the city to get a better understanding of Seattle’s streets before going forward with expanding its operations.
