Brabus is back with yet another frankly outrageous car: the Brabus 900 Rocket Edition Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S, otherwise known as the fastest street-legal SUV in the world. In standard form, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S is still an incredibly fast SUV. But as per usual, this wasn’t enough for Brabus, which has tuned the twin-turbo V8 to produce 900 HP and a peak of 922 lb-ft of torque, with the latter actually being limited to 774 lb-ft. Toyota‘s CEO Akio Toyoda is concerned that the radical transition to electric vehicles for the company will cost millions of Japanese workers to lose their jobs in automotive. Toyoda’s qualm with the Japanese government’s pursuit towards carbon neutrality is that it could negatively impact the company’s manufacturing industry. Back in June, the Japanese automotive company Toyota unveiled its all-new Land Cruiser 300 — including a GR Sport version that marked the first change in the SUV in 14 years — and now the tuning company Liberty Walk has gotten its hands all over the car. A top U.S. safety official is urging Tesla to address its “basic safety issues” before it expands its plans to introduce the much-discussed Full-Self Driving mode. CEO Elon Musk has been promising to release Full Self-Driving software upgrades for several years, though at present, the electric car company does not offer a completely autonomous driving experience. Instead, Tesla offers what it calls Autopilot, which comes standard on its new cars and allows drivers to accelerate, brake, and steer automatically. The company says that the current Autopilot feature still requires “active supervision” from the driver.
