Tesla has once again recalled its Cybertrucks, marking the sixth recall of 2024.Impacting vehicles produced between November 2023 and July 2024, 2,431 Cybertrucks have been recalled, though only 1% are expected to have the defect, Jalopnik reported. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the inverter may stop producing torque, which would put the car to a standstill.“If the inverter stops producing torque, the driver loses the ability to apply torque to the vehicle using the accelerator pedal resulting in a loss of propulsion, which may increase the risk of a collision,” Tesla wrote in its report.The company said that while five warranty claims were filed, no accidents relating to the inverter had been reported.
