Hyundai Tucson Fuel Economy Improves for 2022

In the run-up to the launch of the all-new 2022 Hyundai Tucson this summer, we’re getting more details about how the new SUV stacks up—and from a fuel economy perspective, things are looking good. Available for the first time as a hybrid and plug-in hybrid, the fourth-generation Tucson not only looks spectacular but also promises improved fuel economy in its non-hybrid guise. Sporting a striking outward appearance, the gas-only version of the revamped Tucson has better fuel economy ratings than the previous generation. The base model SE with front-wheel-drive starts at $26,135 and comes powered by a 2.5-liter naturally-aspirated I-4. Its EPA fuel economy estimates are 26 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 29 mpg combined. Compare those numbers to the outgoing 2.0-liter Tucson FWD, ra...

The New Bentley Continental GT Speed Isn’t the End of Bentley’s W-12

Not only that, but Bentley’s parent company, Volkswagen, recently announced that it has stopped the development of all internal combustion engines. Audi has done the same. So that got us thinking, is the 2022 Bentley Continental GT Speed the last time we’ll see a new iteration of Bentley’s now-legendary 6.0-liter, twin-turbo W-12? According to Bentley CEO Adrian Hallmark, that’s certainly not the case. During the live unveiling of the new Speed—which was held over Zoom, in case you’re wondering—we had the chance to bounce a few questions off of Hallmark in a roundtable-style interview. When we asked if the Speed was the W-12’s swan song, we were met with an emphatic no. “I wouldn’t call it the swan song just yet. There’s life in what is...

8 Throwback Celebrity Outfits That Look Like They’re From 2021

There’s something particularly alluring about timeless fashion. I’m always in awe of the kind of outfits you can look at and not necessarily pinpoint what year, decade, or era they’re from. Made from a combination of classic items—be it straight-leg jeans, button-down shirts, chunky knitwear, or open-toe shoes—these looks rely on the forever-favourite wardrobe heroes we wear again and again, season after season.  When it comes to celebrity style, I love stumbling across an image of someone who has been famous for years (think Jennifer Aniston or Naomi Campbell) and playing a silent, internal guessing game about when the photo was taken. For those celebrities who subscribe to a timeless aesthetic, this game can be more difficult than you’d think. ...

14 Accessories Trends That Are in, According to Our Editors

What are outfits without accessories? These accoutrements might seem insignificant, but when you combine them with clothing, you suddenly have an outfit. With the addition of a chunky gold chain, a chic leather bag and a truly great pair of heels to a plain white tee and blue jeans, you end up with a truly great-looking outfit. At Who What Wear, we spend a lot of time analysing a variety of trends, and accessories are one area that we make sure to never overlook. To get a good idea on the key add-ons that our editors really want to wear this season, I asked them all to tell me which two they put above the rest.  There are plenty of standout bags, including candy-coloured totes, that are definitely ones to mark for when you see friends again. There are oversize...

Kendall Jenner Wore Spring’s Prettiest It Bag

Early last year, Kendall Jenner did her part to make the Staud Tommy Bag an It bag, when she carried the zebra version on repeat occasions. A year later, she’s proving that the bag has staying power, as she just wore a newer colorful iteration of the bag out and about in New York. The Tommy Bag is a ’90s-style baguette shoulder bag covered in beads. This season, the offerings include animal prints, pastel gingham styles, geometrics patterns, and in Jenner’s case, a colourful psychedelic print called Millefiore.  No matter which you choose, each one of the bags is beautiful in person, and the style is roomy enough to hold all of your essentials and more. It’s also a great piece to add some excitement to your ward...

2022 GMC Terrain Adds Rugged-Looking AT4 Variant, More Tech

Although last year we got a sneak peek of the new GMC Terrain AT4, the coronavirus pandemic forced GM to delay its official launch. But it looks like things have now been ironed out for the brand, as the new 2022 GMC Terrain AT4 officially becomes the last (and latest) model in GMC’s lineup to get the off-road-oriented package. Besides the new variant, the Terrain is getting a midcycle update across its four trims—SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali, adding a refreshed look and more technology. Fulfilling GMC’s promise of expanding the AT4 badge across its lineup, the Terrain AT4 has the rugged looks that the rest of the variants lack. But that’s about it, as the only hardware it adds is a front steel skid plate. From our preview last year, we also noted knobbier tires, which make s...

Tesla’s Touchscreen Shifter Seems Like a Really Bad Idea

Remember the good old days? You know, the time when putting your automatic car into gear meant positioning a lever so that it lined up with the letters D or R? Oh, the automakers tried to complicate our lives by using D for “drive” instead of F for “forward” (after all, “forward” is the opposite of “reverse”, right?), and putting R toward the top of the lever’s options and D toward the back. Still, though this seemingly foolproof design has led to the demise of many, many garage doors over the decades, generally even the most dim-witted or mildly inebriated among us could generally figure out how to get their cars going in the desired direction. See all 12 photos Since the arrival of the 2002 BMW 7 Series, it seems automakers are on a m...

All the Coolest Interiors Have These 4 Trends in Common

The term rustic has always seemed like a bit of a backward compliment. It’s the sort of word you’d use to describe the birdhouse in your friend’s garden which has been lovingly, but haphazardly, cobbled together by their 3-year-old. But over the last year, a new wave of interior design trends have washed in and, in turn, well and truly reclaimed the stylistic potential of rustic—a rustic redux, if you will.  This new look centres on a handful of materials that offer a certain earthy softness to any interior: bamboo, rattan, linen and jute, specifically. These four trends happily fall under the nu-rustic banner, and design-savvy individuals have embraced them in all number of iterations this year. W...

This Trend Is “Ugly,” and I’m Into It

The patchwork trend started bubbling up last year but now in 2021, I’m convinced it has completely exploded. Amid a sea of Bottega Veneta and The Row‘s clean ’90s silhouettes, patchwork is here to remind us that “ugly” trends still have their place and make an outfit feel fresh and exciting for 2021. From Stella McCartney’s patchwork denim jacket to Sea’s beautiful pastel coloured jacket as well as Prada’s mutli-print dress, there seem to be endless brands getting in on the patchwork trend this season.  You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk: Everything We Know About the Upcoming Off-Roader

The excitement surrounding the recently revealed Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer hasn’t even died down yet, and we have it on good authority that Jeep isn’t done making news with this family of vehicles. For example, we know that there will be a long-wheelbase model coming, along with a PHEV version. And you shouldn’t be surprised if, down the road, there’s an off-road version as well—which we had our talented artist, Abimelec Arellano, render in the images you see above and below. Not Trail Rated? While it might not wear a “Trail Rated” badge due to its size, the Wagoneer is still a capable off-roader from the factory—and a “Trailhawk” version would be more so. On a regular Wagoneer, you’ll be able to get adjustable air suspension, 18-inch...
