Johnson Tsang and Avant Arte have developed a fruitful partnership in recent years, releasing a suite of surrealist ceramic sculptures that feature contorted faces in place of utilitarian objects, from mirrors to planters. The Chinese artist and London studio are returning with a new edition entitled The Moment, a wall-mounted resin sculpture of a white featureless head and two inner faces kissing within. In a departure from his famed land-based works, Alex Chinneck looks toward the water. The surrealist artist presents a new piece on the Sheffield and Tinsley Canal in England. Dubbed The Looping Boat, the structure is fabricated from nine tons of hand-rolled steel and aluminum, standing at six meters tall and 13 meters wide.
