Elon Musk Teases New Tesla EV In Development, With Another on the Way

Elon Musk has given words that Tesla is currently hard at work on two new Tesla EVs. Speaking at the annual company shareholder’s meeting, the Tesla CEO teased the vehicles and provided shareholders with a brief visual reference.“I just want to emphasize that we are actually building a new product,” Musk told the crowd. “We are actually designing a new product. We’re not sitting on our hands here.”He went on to say that, as for the two new EVs, “the design of the products and the manufacturing techniques are head and shoulders above anything else that is present in the industry.”Musk later noted that the meeting wasn’t to focus on the new EVs and that a more official product announcement would follow. Though he said the company is currently working on “building,” it’s likely he means they’...

The Ferrari Roma Is a Love Letter to Italy

Ferrari wrote the supercar rule book. Its cars are exotic, exclusive, powerful and dramatic, both to admire and to drive. But above all else is Ferrari’s passion; a passion for producing “Prancing Horses” that fuel an emotional connection between driver and machine. This passion culminates in the Ferrari Roma, a car that stands aside from the overtly boisterous world of racing cars made for the road and instead puts the focus on traditions, nostalgia, and old Italian luxury values. Despite being at the lower quarter of the marque’s roster, sitting alongside the Portofino M and recently-released Roma Spider, there’s little about the Roma that feels entry-level. Heck, if you were given the keys to a Ferrari that looked like it was sculpted from Venetian marble for the weekend, we doubt you’d...

The piece also included a photograph by Goldsmith, which was used as an "artist reference," in which the photographer was paid $400 USD. Warhol proceeded in altering the photograph across 16 different iterations, with one being used for the article. After the artist's death in 1987, the Andy Warhol Foundation assumed ownership of the work. Fast forward to after Prince'...

Channeling the (Al)gorithm: A Conversation with Jesse Damiani

The question of what it means to be human has perplexed scientists, philosophers, and scholars throughout history. While we don’t have the answers to this question, it’s a thought that arises when meditating on the progression of artificial intelligence.Like all species, humans have radically changed in an infinitesimal space of time. So has the technology that has allowed this evolution. In less than a million years, humans have evolved from hunting animals to sentient beings, a rapid transformation considering the age of the universe. When speculating on the evolution of human intelligence, Dr. Carl Sagan once pondered, “What is the information content of the brain?” Unsurprisingly, there is much that connects humans with the rest of the animal kingdom, but where we differ, at least to ou...
