Over the last few years, The Vampire’s Wife has been the fashion savvy celeb’s go-to for red carpet glamour, and we have no doubt it will remain so for many years to come. But, we are always excited to discover new names and we might’ve just discovered a new party brand to fall in love with. We’ve lost count of the number of Saloni bow and heart-embellished dresses that we’ve seen both on Instagram and in A-list parties over the last 12 months, and we’re delighted that they’re back again for winter 2022. Coming in a luxe velvet finish and with chic long sleeves, they’re a completely different look from the ‘naked dresses’ that have been reigning supreme this year. Every time we get a sighting of Kate Middleton we also gain plenty of outfit inspiration. With winter well and truly here, you can expect to see a lot of stellar winter outfits very soon. However, stellar doesn’t have to translate as brand new. Since the Princess of Wales tends to stick to her signature personal style and rely upon classic wardrobe staples she already owns, we have a feeling she’ll be bringing back all of her favourite trends from seasons past. In fact, today she stepped out in a checked pleated midi dress that we’ve seen before. Another good example? She already resurrected an old, reliable pair of See by Chloé lace-up boots for a function this month—further proof that decent footwear choices do last. She also brings ba...
A question that often comes up in the Who What Wear office is, “Are you more of a shoe person or a bag person?” It’s like picking between sweet and savoury or discovering you’re left or right handed. In other words, it’s almost innate. Some rare breeds (myself included) like both shoes and bags equally. I’ve always styled my outfits around my shoes, and I can easily be persuaded into a night out not by the promise of a cocktail but by the sparkle of a new rhinestone handbag. I think this time of year is the best for shoes and handbags. There’s the back-to-school vibe of early autumn, which is a great opportunity to refresh your work wardrobe. (What boots do I have my eye on? Which bag will fit my laptop? Are loafers comfortable commuting shoes?) An...
We’re nearing the end of 2022, which means our calendars are filling up with Christmas bashes, candlelit get-togethers and festive dinner parties. Pass the mulled wine, please. I don’t know about you, but I consider partywear to be one of the most exciting fashion categories. It’s always nice to depart from one’s everyday uniform (for me, that’s jeans and a jumper) to get a little more dressed up. That being said, I’m often reluctant to spend a lot of money on going-out attire; I prefer to invest in items I’ll wear regularly, and I always keep to a strict budget on the partywear front to ensure I don’t overspend. This is what led me to Marks and Spencer‘s website, where I was pleasantly surprised by the wealth of stylish pieces on offer...
It might feel early in the season for holiday dressing, but Jennifer Lopez doesn’t live on anyone’s schedule, so of course, she’d break out a festive ‘fit before December’s arrival. Over Thanksgiving weekend, the Hustlers actress was spotted out with her husband, Ben Affleck, at the Winter Garden Theatre in NYC, where they attended a performance of The Music Man. For the occasion, Lopez went with two pieces from Ralph Lauren Collection, a Fair Isle sweater and a tulle maxi skirt with a slit up the entire right side. But the holiday festivities didn’t end there. With her party-ready skirt choice, she added fishnet tights and a pair of velvet Giuseppe Zanotti platforms with a casual five-inch heel. She even carried a shea...
After revealing a second colorway of its Gobstomper sneakers and its first-ever handbag made in Italy, Texas, the Brooklyn art collective MSCHF is back with another unconventional object for Art Basel Miami, setting up an ATM that puts users’ bank acccount balances on a ranked leaderboard for everyone to see. “ATM Leaderboard is an extremely literal distillation of wealth-flaunting impulses,” Daniel Greenberg, co-founder of MSCHF, told NPR. “From its conception, we had mentally earmarked this work for a location like Miami Basel, a place where there is a dense concentration of people renting Lamborghinis and wearing Rolexes.” Arriving as a collaboration with Perrotin, the ATM was used by a number of guests with balances ranging from zero to the No.1 spot of $3 million — registered by the D...
A pre-production Lamborghini Urraco has hit the market. The sports car model from the Italian automaker was produced from 1972-1979 with only 791 units made. The surfaced car was made in November of 1972 and is the 19th pre-production model. Appearing in a decadent orange, the sleek design is complemented by silver bumper detailing and a black grated back windshield spoiler. Since 1972, the car has only changed ownership a few times and was stored in a garage for over two decades from 1992. When the car was acquired in 2014, it underwent a restoration prowess to maintain its original integrity – including a rebuilt engine and a new paint job in the original color. The Urraco was sold again in 2016 to a collector who specialized in Italian GT sports cars. Now, the model is up for sale again...
When it comes to discovering this season’s It products, at Who What Wear we all agree that Instagram is a great source of inspo. Whether it’s that Mango shearling jacket (our sources tell us it’s coming back in stock soon, FYI) or the Arket striped jumper, there’s no shortage of cult items to be found. Something that doesn’t happen all too often, however, is when these popular pieces all end up being from the same brand. Luckily for us high-street lovers, this is exactly what’s happening right now thanks to one of our favourite brands, H&M. The new-season offerings are some of the best we’ve seen from the high-street hero, and we’re not the only mega fans. Some of our stylish friends have already been shopping, and wearing, the ...
We believe in being 100% transparent here at WWW Beauty, and we’d be lying if we said we don’t have exceedingly high expectations when it comes to a face-perfecting foundation formula. As makeup artists can attest, foundation is one makeup category worth splurging on because you often get what you pay for regarding finish, naturalness, and longevity in the best foundations. Since we greet the world with the skin on our face, we always want our complexion to live up to its full potential, and, simply put, we have zilch time for unflattering shades or difficult application. That said, there is a select—let us emphasize—a very select group of drugstore foundations both celebrity makeup artists and product-jaded beauty editors stand by—formul...
When you hear ‘party makeup’ you might fall into one of two camps—the ones who cannot wait to dig out the party glitter, and the ones who shiver at the thought of glitter (not to mention the endless hoovering it will cause). If you’re in the latter camp, this article is for you. Party makeup needn’t always involve a dramatic cut-crease and a bright lipstick combo. Sometimes, it’s the most simple makeup looks that work the best. The other plus is that the simpler the makeup, the easier—and quicker—it is to execute. Because not everyone has time for a full face of makeup, especially if your social calendar involves hopping from work to festive parties. You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. So we reimagined what a d...
2022 may have been all about Totême, with every influencer, editor and fashion person after a piece of the brand’s simple yet elevated designs. But, if By Malene Birger’s new collection is anything to go by, this alternative Scandi brand is about to follow suit and hit major cult status in 2023. With a creamy palette of neutrals across a selection of soft coats, beautiful knits and textural dresses (all at a rather reasonable, mid-range price point), it’s really no wonder the fashion crowd have added the brand to their most-wanted list. The hero piece of the moment appears to be the cream bouclé jumper and skirt co-ord—no surprises there—which is selling out fast. But we’ve also spotted numerous influencers in the dresses and perfect blazers. As your regular download on what’s hot in...
This year’s Miami Art Basel festivities are well underway, and Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III’s FriendsWithYou are celebrating by crafting a limited-edition 16-foot Starchild sculpture available for purchase. The artwork is a miniature version of the 50-foot original commissioned by the city of Miami Beach. Bright orange hues encompass the joyous figure, which is a part of the duo’s larger body of work that aims to unite the human race by renaming the planet “Ocean.” Starchild is a symbol of light, power, and nature and is the first element of life in the new world. The sculpture is designed with a painted stainless steel finish and boasts a slim yet tall figure, holding its arms up high while delivering brightness through its sun-shaped appearance. The miniature Starchild sculptur...
