The legacy of CBGB & OMFUG will live on with a new rock festival taking place in Brooklyn this September. Iggy Pop and Jack White will headline the one-day event, taking place at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn on September 27th.
In addition to the headlining sets by Pop (marking his first New York show in over a decade) and White, the lineup for CBGB Festival 2025 also promises performances by Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter, Johnny Marr, Marky Ramone, The Damned, Gorilla Biscuits, Melvins, Lambrini Girls, The Linda Lindas, Lip Critic, and more.
Tickets for the festival will first become available through a pre-sale opening on Thursday, May 15th at 10:00 a.m. ET. The general on-sale will then open on Friday, May 16th at 10:00 a.m. ET.
Named after the iconic CBGB & OMFUG venue that operated in New York from 1973 to 2006, the CBGB Festival pays homage to the spirit of punk that the venue helped foster. Indeed, the venue became an important space for many iconic bands, including Blondie, Talking Heads, and Patti Smith, as well as some artists who will be featured on the 2025 lineup, like Marky Ramone, Gorilla Biscuits, The Damned, and others.
