DC Studios and HBO Max are officially developing DC Crime, a fictional true crime series within the DC Universe. Jimmy Olsen, portrayed by Skyler Gisondo in the latest Superman film, will host the show.
Variety reports that season one will focus on Gorilla Grodd, who is primarily an antagonist of The Flash. A hyper-intelligent gorilla, the villain is telepathic and gained mind control abilities following the crash of an alien spaceship in their area.
DC Studios’ James Gunn and Peter Safran will executive produce, while Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault will serve as writers, executive producers and showrunners. DC Studios’ Galen Vaisman will oversee the Warner Bros. Television production.
