GWAR have announced “The Gor Gor Strikes Back Tour,” a Spring 2026 US outing with support from Soulfly and King Parrot.
The “Gor-Gor Strikes Back” tour kicks off with a gig in the Scumdogs’ hometown of Richmond, Virginia, and run through an April 29th show in Charlotte, North Carolina. The route will loop across the country to the West Coast and back, hitting Boston, Chicago, Portland (Oregon), Los Angeles, Houston, and other cities along the way.
An artist ticket pre-sale begins Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time — sign up for GWAR’s mailing list via their website to receive the pre-sale code. General ticket sales start Friday at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

“GWAR, Soulfly and King Parrot. This tour will be a ritual orgy of death, sex, violence and rock and fu**ing roll!!” enthused GWAR’s The Berserker Blothar. “Let the severed heads rain, bouncing down the pyramid onto a heap of human skulls. Be there humans, or be left to suffer on this planet while we party in the stars!”
Speaking severed heads, GWAR gained some viral attention in September after their well-known and long-running onstage antics — namely, the caricatured “murder” of certain political figures — ruffled the feathers of MAGA on social media. The viral story led Blothar to chime in and defend the band’s “cartoon” depictions of violence.
More recently, Heavy Consequence‘s interview with GWAR front-thing Blöthar the Berserker was highlighted on an episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
