- The Paramore lead singer first released the project on a mysterious website through Good Dye Young before officially uploading each track to streaming platforms.
Hayley Williams on Friday dropped a surprise collection of 17 singles, all of which were produced by Daniel James.
The Paramore lead vocalist dropped the project, which fans are calling Ego, via her new label, Post Atlantic, marking a new era after the band concluded its contract with Atlantic Records. Williams’ collaborators, Brian Robert Jones and Joey Howard, are featured across the drop, which Williams wrote, recorded, and provided instrumental backing.
Williams initially offered the 17-track project to fans on a cryptic website through her Good Dye Young hair company, but she promptly removed the songs from the platform within two days. She then formally dropped the single collection on Friday, uploading each track as an individual single to streaming platforms.
The project marks Williams’ latest solo effort, following her two albums, Petals for Armor (2020) and Flowers for Vases (2021), and three EPs.
