HBO has debuted the second trailer for the highly anticipated third season of Sam Levinson’s Euphoria.
The three-minute visual gives audiences a clearer picture of where the characters have ended up five years since the events of season two. Zendaya’s Rue takes on a job transporting drugs from Mexico to the United States, only to be stopped and held by the FBI. Nate (Jacob Elordi) takes the helm of his father Cal’s (played by the late Eric Dane) construction business, although his personal life is looking to go down a turbulent and violent path. Meanwhile, his now-wife Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) has turned into a cam girl, and is seemingly working on rebuilding her friendship with former best friend and her husband’s ex-girlfriend Maddy (Alexa Demie), who works in Hollywood.
The new trailer also gives us a preview of Lexi’s (Maude Apatow) own career as a writer in Hollywood as she works for a showrunner played by Sharon Stone. Finally, Jules (Hunter Schafer) is following her passion for art, going to school and working as a sugar baby. The clip also teases a season one callback and shows a reunion scene between her and Cal.
Also joining the cast as season regulars are Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Toby Wallace. Colman Domingo, Nika King, Alanna Ubach, Sophia Rose Wilson, Melvin Bonez Estes, Daeg Faerch, Paula Marshall, Zak Steiner, and Marsha Gambles will return as guest stars, alongside new guest stars Stone, ROSALÍA, Danielle Deadwyler, Marshawn Lynch, Anna Van Patten, Asante Blackk, Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Christopher Ammanuel, Christopher Grove, Colleen Camp, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Eli Roth, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, James Landry Hébert, Jeff Wahlberg, Jessica Blair Herman, Justin Sintic, Kadeem Hardison, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Meredith Mickelson, Natasha Lyonne, Priscilla Delgado, Rebecca Pidgeon, Sam Trammell, Smilez, Trisha Paytas, Tyler Lawrence Gray, and Vinnie Hacker.
