HBO Max‘s The Conjuring TV series adaptation has found its showrunner in Nancy Won.

Variety reports that Won will not only serve as showrunner, but also writer and executive producer. Peter Cameron and Cameron Squires are also joining the series as writers. Won will co-executive produce alongside Peter Safran, while director James Wan’s Atomic Monster will be producing.

No additional information such as plot details and casting announcements were made. HBO Max also declined to comment.

The news arrives shortly after the premiere of The Conjuring: Last Rites — the final movie focusing on Ed and Lorraine Warren. The film earned $194 million USD globally during its opening weekend, overtaking Stephen King’s It to become the biggest horror movie opening of all time.
