Slide Away, the tri-city shoegaze festival, has announced its 2026 lineup, with Hum, Chapterhouse, and Nothing topping the bill.
The festival, now in its third year, takes place at the Brooklyn Paramount in New York on May 15th and 16th, at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom on May 23rd, and the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on May 29th and 30th. All dates of the festival will feature the trio of Hum, Nothing, and Chapterhouse headlining, with a variety of shoegaze-adjacent support acts opening each performance.
Hum are returning to play their first shows since 2019; the Midwestern rockers will notably be performing for the first time since the death of longtime drummer Bryan St. Pere in 2021. Jason Gerken will fill in behind the kit. Meanwhile, British shoegaze stalwarts Chapterhouse will reunite for their first shows in 15 years. Philadelphia band Nothing will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2016 album Tired of Tomorrow with a full album playthrough.
