Hypedrive Brought out the Speed and Energy of NYC With Cars & Kicks 2.0

Hypedrive Brought out the Speed and Energy of NYC With Cars & Kicks 2.0

For its second iteration, Hypedrive brought together the best of automotive and sneaker community with Cars & Kicks, this time in Brooklyn, New York.

Hypedrive‘s Cars & Kicks just wrapped in NY, situated at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in its massive Agger Fish Warehouse building. The event acted as the pre-launch party for host Steven Victor, and his collaborative Victor Victor x Nike Air Max DN8. The teams behind Wheels of NYC and Victor Victor came on board to produce the event, filling the space with some of the rarest, most expensive and coveted cars across the tri-state area. With music bumping and the alcohol flowing, the night was filled with energy and vibes, while the guests adored and marveled at the extensive line up of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, RUF Porsches, Nissan Skyline GT-Rs, rally cars and more.

Beyond getting their hands on the Victor Victor x Nike Air Max DN8 “NYC” colorway firsthand, attendees were also able to vibe to the music of dj Pi’erre Bourne and the tequila cocktails provided by Hiatus. USM gave guests areas to chill and relax, while projectors and optics were provided by Leica. Plenty of photos were snapped against the amazing backdrop of cars, courtesy of curators 1600 Veloce, Ryan Friedman Motorcars, private collectors and Steven Victor himself.

In the end, and even with the torrential downpour, the community killed it for Cars & Kicks New York City edition. Thank you everyone for attending and be on the lookout for more events from Hypebeast, Hypedrive and our other cultural verticals.
