Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are both newly single, and if TMZ is to be believed, the pair spent Monday night dining together at a posh Montreal restaurant. Their outing — explicitly described by TMZ as a “dinner date” — involved cocktails and several dishes, including lobster.
It’s entirely possible that Perry was just looking for a dining buddy while touring Canada on her “Lifetimes Tour.” However, Perry and Trudeau are both recently separated from their longtime partners: Perry split from actor Orlando Bloom in June, while Trudeau separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire, in August 2023.
