In one of the night’s standout moments, the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary concert paid tribute to the legacy of The Lonely Island with an epic medley celebrating some of Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer’s greatest contributions to SNL, kicking off first with Lady Gaga’s rendition of “Dick in a Box.”
Well, first Samberg attempted a cover of “Shallow” from A Star Is Born (complete with Jackson Maine wig) before Gaga shut him down. Then, since Justin Timberlake wasn’t around, she offered to sing “Dick in a Box” in his place.
After a bit, though, Chris Parnell entered the scene to duet with Samberg on “Lazy Sunday,” which then led to Bad Bunny performing “I Just Had Sex,” Eddie Vedder subbing in for Michael Bolton on “Captain Jack Sparrow,” and T-Pain reprising his feature on “I’m On a Boat.”

The whole thing culminated in everyone (plus a gospel choir, of course) performing “I Jizzed In My Pants,” while a Canadian flag waved in the background. It was, to be clear, epic.
The SNL50 concert also featured performances from Nirvana with Post Malone, Jack White, Miley Cyrus, Eddie Vedder, Robyn and David Byrne, Fugees, and The B-52s and Devo.
