Beyond his music career, LAX also comes from a notable background. He is the son of billionaire businessman Taiwo Afolabi, a prominent Nigerian entrepreneur, lawyer, and founder of the SIFAX Group of Companies, a major conglomerate with interests spanning maritime, aviation, logistics, hospitality, and oil and gas.
Taiwo Afolabi is also the owner of the Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, which he holds through Mac-Folly Hospitality Limited, a subsidiary of the SIFAX Group managed by Marriott International.
