West Bromwich Albion star Metheus Pereira has been linked with a move away from the Baggies after their relegation to the Championship.
According to the Express, Leeds United, Leicester City and West Ham United are interested in signing the midfielder this summer.
Apparently, the Foxes are leading the chase for the 25-year-old right now.
The report further states that West Ham will only move for the 25-year-old midfielder if they fail to sign Jesse Lingard on a permanent deal from Manchester United.
The midfielder is thought to be valued at around £30 million. West Brom paid £8.2 million for the player last summer and they will be hoping to make a considerable profit on him after an impressive season in the Premier League.
Despite West Brom’s relegation to the Championship, the 25-year-old had an outstanding individual campaign and it is no surprise that the Premier League clubs are looking to sign him.
Pereira scored 11 goals and picked up six assists in the Premier League last year and he managed to score a goal in the FA Cup as well.
The 25-year-old mostly played as a right-sided winger for the Baggies last season and as the number ten.
He could prove to be a quality addition to the Hammers midfield and his versatility in the final third could be very useful for David Moyes.
Similarly, Leeds could use a player like him in the final third as well to support the likes of Raphinha, Jack Harrison and Patrick Bamford.
The 25-year-old is too good for the Championship and the Brazilian will probably be hoping to join a Premier League club in the coming weeks.
