Morgan Nagler Announces Debut Album, I've Got Nothing to Lose, and I'm Losing It, Shares "Grassoline"

Morgan Nagler, one of Consequence’s 2026 Emerging Artists to Watch, has announced her debut album, I’ve Got Nothing to Lose, and I’m Losing It, out March 13th via Little Operation Records and More. As the latest preview, she has revealed a new single, “Grassoline,” and its accompanying music video.

I’ve Got Nothing to Lose, and I’m Losing It sees Nagler stepping back into the spotlight after co-writing with Phoebe Bridgers (“Kyoto”), Margo Price, Kim Deal, HAIM, and more. Co-produced with Kyle Thomas (aka King Tuff), the record features Thomas on guitar; backing vocals from Allison Crutchfield, Madi Diaz, and Bethany Cosentino; Gabe Noel on bass; Courtney Barnett, Meg Duffy, and Harrison Whitford on guitars; and Josh Adams (Cat Power, Weyes Blood) on drums.

“Mine is the story of somebody who decided to never stop,” Nagler said of the album in a press release. “Recently there have been more signs from the universe to keep going. But the ultimate sign has really just been within myself, realizing that I have a lifetime of experiences and my own unique perspective, and that is the gift I have to offer.”

Featuring backing vocals from Diaz, “Grassoline” is a tribute to Nagler’s love for weed. “I know Jesus ain’t gonna save me,” she sings. “And if he does that’d just be crazy/ But God gave me a will divine to get by/ On my own /To go and see all of the daisies/ Get to sleeping like a baby/ Good old fashioned grassoline always gets me where I wanna go.”

Prior singles from I’ve Got Nothing to Lose, and I’m Losing It include the melodic “Cradle the Pain” and “Orange Wine.” Pre-orders for the album are ongoing.
