NEON has dropped the official trailer for Genki Kawamura’s EXIT 8.
Based on KOTAKE CREATE’s hit game of the same name, EXIT 8 stars Kazunari Ninomiya as The Lost Man and follows a similar premise. After receiving an important call from his ex-girlfriend, Ninomiya’s character finds himself stuck in a never-ending loop of subway passages. “The rules of his quest are simple: do not overlook anything out of the ordinary. If you discover an anomaly, turn back immediately. If you don’t, carry on,” the synopsis reads. “Then leave from Exit 8. But even a single oversight will send him back to the beginning. Will he ever reach his goal and escape this infinite corridor?”
Joining Ninomiya in the cast are Yamato Kochi and Naru Asanuma. EXIT 8 first premiered at the Midnight Screenings of Cannes 2025, where it received an eight-minute standing ovation. It was released in Japan in August 2025, and will hit Stateside theaters on April 10.
