Netflix has dropped the official trailer for season two of The Vince Staples Show, starring Vince Staples.
The trailer takes on a darker tone that slowly devolves into chaos. “In the wake of a tragic death, Vince embarks on a wild journey in search of inner peace. However, his path is littered with reminders of his haunted past,” the logline reads. Staples seemingly takes matters into his own hands, being involved in unexplained physical altercations that lead him to showing up with blood and bruises at the funeral. It ends with a little breaking-of-the-fourth-wall (in true Vince Staples fashion) as a valet asks him for a photo and asks when the next season of his show is coming out.
Season two will see Vanessa Bell Calloway and Naté Jones as recurring guest stars, with Zack Fox also appearing as a newly-announced guest star. Staples executive produces alongside Kenya Barris, Corey Smyth, William Stefan Smith, Andrea Sperling and Leonard Chang.
