A new Foo Fighters album is on the way, Dave Grohl has confirmed.
During the band’s show in Launceston, Australia, over the weekend, Grohl revealed that the band has a “whole new record of songs we just finished the other day.” He didn’t offer a release date, but said it would arrive before the band’s next Australian shows — which he noted will take place before his next birthday on January 14th, 2026.
Foo Fighters released their last album, But Here We Are, in 2023. Last year, the band put out two new tracks, “Today’s Song” and “Asking for a Friend.” This summer, they’ll embark on a North American stadium tour with Queens of the Stone Age.
