Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed she has been diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer in a TikTok video posted on Friday, February 20th.
In the clip, the 38-year-old Jersey Shore star said the results of a cone biopsy came back as adenocarcinoma. “Obviously not the news that I was hoping for,” she said with a hint of optimism because “they caught it so early.”
Snooki then explained she had been “struggling with abnormal pap smears for three or four years now,” emphasizing how important it is for women to get the routine screening. She added that she’s facing a possible hysterectomy.
