Actor Peter Greene died from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in New York City recently concluded that Green’s cause of death the result of a gunshot wound to the left axilla with injury to the brachial artery. According to TMZ, the 60-year-old actor accidentally shot himself in the left armpit, with the bullet damaging the artery that supplies blood to the hand, forearm, elbow, and arm.
In December, Greene was found dead in his Manhattan apartment. After neighbors heard music coming from his apartment all night, they called the police, who knocked on the door. When Greene didn’t answer, officers conducted a welfare check and discovered him deceased.
Greene was best known for his villainous roles in classic movies like The Mask and Pulp Fiction.
