Record Store Day has revealed its extensive list of limited edition vinyl, box sets, and other speciality releases that will be available as part of its 2026 edition taking place on Saturday, April 18th, 2026.
This year promises exclusive releases from Bruno Mars (who serves as the 2026 RSD Ambassador), Slipknot, Weezer, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Billy Strings, Ween, Adam Sandler, Jeff Buckley, Pavement, Joni Mitchell, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sonic Youth, Dijon, Ethel Cain, and more.

— Slipknot’s Look Outside Your Window, the long-mythologized passion project from band members Corey Taylor, Jim Root, Sid Wilson, and Michael Shawn Crahan, will finally see an official release.
— Bruno Mars will release Collaborations, which collects his various records with Mark Ronson, Lady Gaga, ROSÉ.
— Weezer will release 1192, a newly unearthed album built from the band’s very first studio sessions, discovered by founding bassist Matt Sharp while digging through a trove of “lost-album” master tapes.
— Bruce Springsteen has announced the first physical release of his electrifying homecoming performance at the 2024 Sea.Hear.Now festival in Asbury Park. Spanning more than three hours in front of 35,000 fans, the 5xLP, 3xCD set captures Springsteen and The E Street Band, tearing through classics like “Thunder Road” and “Dancing in the Dark,” plus early gems penned just down the road, including “Blinded By the Light” and “Growin’ Up.”
— David Bowie’s 1.Outside era gets a Record Store Day 2026 spotlight with a neon pink 12-inch EP collecting six remixes of “Hallo Spaceboy.” The release features two mixes by Pet Shop Boys, three by Dave Ball and Ingo Vauk, plus a previously unreleased remix from Tim Simenon, marking the first time this full set appears together on vinyl.
— Also arriving for Record Store Day 2026, Bowie’s Excerpts From Outside returns to vinyl for the first time in over a decade. Pressed on clear vinyl and half-speed remastered using the 2021 Brian Eno-approved masters, the LP revives the abridged vinyl version of Bowie’s 1.Outside, a long out-of-print fan favorite from his landmark 1995 album.
— doPE — the new project uniting Public Enemy’s Chuck D and The Doors drummer John Densmore — will release its debut album No Country for Old Men exclusively for Record Store Day 2026 (limited to 2,000 copies).
— Billy Strings will release his epic Tiny Desk performance as a Record Store Day-exclusive 12-inch EP pressed on milky white vinyl.
— Ween’s Europe “90” arrives as an exclusive 3xLP set collecting previously unreleased material from the band’s legendary early era. The release includes long-lost studio sessions recorded in Eindhoven on Christmas Day 1990, plus the ultra-brown Live in Basel “1990” show, a performance Dean Ween has called potentially the best Ween show of all time.
— Adam Sandler’s multiplatinum debut comedy album They’re All Gonna Laugh At You! returns for a special 2026 edition, bringing the 1993 classic to orange vinyl. Housed in a special gatefold jacket with new cover art.
— Neil Young & the Chrome Hearts will release The Live Album, a clear-vinyl 2xLP release housed in an RSD-exclusive gatefold package. The release was recorded during the band’s 2025 “Love Earth” tour.
— Jeff Buckley’s Live À L’Olympia arrives on vinyl for the first time as a Record Store Day exclusive 2xLP set.
— Paramore’s debut album All We Know Is Falling gets the deluxe treatment as a 2xLP set. Alongside the original album, the reissue includes a bonus LP containing the first-ever vinyl pressing of the rare 2006 The Summer Tic EP.
— Blur’s 1996 album Live At The Budokan will be released on vinyl for the first time.
— AIR are releasing their first live album, Moon Safari – The Athens Concert, which captures a performance from their 2024-2025 celebrating the 25th anniversary of their classic debut album.
— Pavement’s cult-classic 1991 EP Perfect Sound Forever will get its first-ever repress for Record Store Day 2026 on white-vinyl 10-inch.
— Joni Mitchell’s 1972 album For the Roses gets a special Record Store Day edition that restores her original cover-art vision for the first time.
— Mark Lanegan’s Bubblegum (Original Draft) presents the musician’s initial vision for the 2004 classic with contributions from collaborators including PJ Harvey, Joshua Homme, Greg Dulli, Duff McKagan, and Alain Johannes. All profits benefiting the newly established Mark Lanegan Foundation.
— Madonna’s The Confessions Tour – Live From London arrives as a Record Store Day 2026 exclusive 2xLP pressed on starburst pink/purple splatter vinyl. Recorded live at Wembley Arena in August 2006, the set captures 13 tracks spanning Confessions on a Dance Floor era.
— Carly Rae Jepsen will officially release the fan-favorite unreleased track “Disco Darling” exclusively for Record Store Day 2026 as a baby blue 7-inch single.
— Charli XCX will release “party 4 u” on vinyl for the first time as a 7-inch single, pressed on ultra-clear wax with an etched B-side. The vinyl comes packaged in a PVC bag.
— Brandi Carlile returns to where it all began with Live At Easy Street Records Vol. II. Nearly two decades after recording her first live album at Seattle’s iconic Easy Street Records, Carlile revisits the storied shop to celebrate her eighth studio album, Returning To Myself, joined by The Hanseroth Twins and SistaStrings for a full-circle performance.
— Bad Brains’ Live returns as a Record Store Day 2026 exclusive, marking the album’s first vinyl reissue since SST’s original 1988 pressing.
— Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ July 16, 1978 – Paradise Theater, Boston, MA is a Record Store Day 2026 exclusive LP that makes a long-bootlegged radio broadcast officially available for the first time. Recorded on 2-track at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club during the You’re Gonna Get It tour and aired on WBCN-FM, the nine-song set has been newly restored by producer Ryan Ulyate, includes five classic cover performances, and is pressed on 180g pink-and-green translucent splatter vinyl with a vintage tour sticky pass included.
— Sonic Youth’s Record Store Day release Diamond Seas offers a radically different kind of remix: John Oswald (of Grateful Dead Grayfolded fame) plunderphonically orchestrates 32 live performances of “The Diamond Sea” into two entirely new 20:44 pieces. Pressed on 12-inch white vinyl, Side A stitches together 1995 performances while Side B draws exclusively from 1996, a warped, immersive spin on the Washing Machine classic.
— Fall Out Boy’s So Much For (2our) Dust: Live At Madison Square Garden will be available for the first time for Record Store Day 2026, capturing the band’s 2024 MSG performance across a massive 32-song set.
— Puscifer’s Normal Isn’t (Live) debuted as an RSD First release, capturing an intimate club performance of the band’s new album delivered in full.
— KPop Demon Hunters will receive two special soundtrack editions for Record Store Day 2026: the HUNTR/X Edition and Saja Boys Edition, each featuring cover art by official artist Marion Bordeyne and packed with extras including a poster, sticker sheet, and snapshot cards.
— Dijon’s How Do You Feel About Getting Married? will make its vinyl debut for Record Store Day as a 12-inch EP pressed on brick-colored vinyl.
— Phoenix’s first two albums, United and Alphabetical, are being reissued on vinyl.
— Ethel Cain’s Inbred will be pressed on vinyl for the first time for Record Store Day 2026.
— Brian Wilson’s 1998 solo album Imagination will be available on vinyl for the first time.
— Steely Dan’s first official live album, Alive in America, will be available on vinyl for the first time.
— Muse’s 1999 single “Muscle Museum” arrives on 12-inch vinyl for the first time as a Record Store Day-exclusive EP pressed on electric teal vinyl. Featuring versions of the first four tracks that differ from the recordings that appeared on Showbiz, the release also includes the B-side “Pink Ego Box.”
— Muse’s self-titled 1998 EP will be reissued as a 12-inch EP pressed on neon red vinyl. The Record Store Day release includes previously unreleased alternate recordings of their debut single “Cave,” the B-side “Coma,” and Showbiz singles “Overdue” and “Escape.”
— Robert Plant returned to the studio to record a new EP especially for Record Store Day. Saving Grace: All that Glitters with Suzi Dian is a continuation of his Saving Grace album featuring four new songs from their musical partnership.
— HAIM will release a four-track 12-inch EP pressed on clear vinyl. Centered around the “Relationships,” the single from I quit, the release also brings three additional tracks, including “Tie You Down (with Bon Iver),” to vinyl for the first time in a limited run of 1,500 copies.
— Tony Bennett’s Grammy-winning MTV Unplugged will be released on vinyl for the first time.
— The Cars will celebrate more than 40 years of Heartbeat City with Heartbeat City Live, a Record Store Day 2026 exclusive 2xLP capturing the band in concert in 1984 at The Summit in Houston, Texas. This performance is previously unreleased in any audio format, physical or digital.
— BABYMETAL will release Live At the O2 Arena – Highlights, a 12-inch EP featuring key performances from their massive 2025 world tour stop at London’s O2 Arena.
— Sleep Token will bring “Caramel” to Record Store Day with a limited-edition, liquid-filled 12-inch single.
— The Sword’s Four Songs arrives as a Record Store Day 2026 exclusive 12-inch EP. Previously only available as a CD-R sold at Austin-area shows in 2005 — and never released on vinyl or streaming — the EP features early versions of songs that would later appear on their debut Age of Winters.
— Half Japanese’s We Are They Who Ache With Amorous Love will be back in print for the first time thanks to a new limited-edition pressing on yellow vinyl.
— Dr. Demento’s Get Demented arrives as a Record Store Day 2026 exclusive 12-inch single, pressed on limited-edition colored vinyl. The release pairs the first-ever physical issue of newly recorded material created prior to his passing with newly restored and remastered audio from 1980, including his long out-of-print cover of the novelty classic “Shaving Cream,” available on vinyl again for the first time in decades.
— Violent Femmes will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their long out-of-print third album, The Blind Leading the Naked, with a new limited-edition reissue.
— Dinosaur Jr.’s Live in Hollywood 1991 – The Green Mind Tour arrives as an RSD First release for Record Store Day 2026, marking 35 years of the band’s landmark major-label breakthrough Green Mind. Pressed on transparent vinyl, the LP captures a raw Hollywood performance from around the album’s release.
— Pixies’ Live in Newport arrives as an exclusive 2xLP set, marking the first audio-only physical release of the band’s one-of-a-kind acoustic set from the Newport Folk Festival in 2005.
— Adrianne Lenker will release the first vinyl pressing of her 2025 live album, Live at Revolution Hall.
— Momma’s Welcome To My Blue Sky (The Heart Charm) arrives as a Record Store Day 2026 exclusive 12-inch release. The EP collects four B-sides that didn’t make it onto their critically acclaimed 2025 album Welcome To My Blue Sky, plus the band’s cover of Elliott Smith/Heatmiser’s “Christian Brothers.”
