Pearl Jam Announce 2022 North American Tour Dates
Pearl Jam will finally return to the road for their long-awaited North American tour supporting their latest album, Gigaton. The band was forced to postpone the tour, originally scheduled to take place in Spring 2020, due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic. Now, three years later, they’re finally ready to make good on those rescheduled shows — as well as play a few newly announced dates. Check out the updated tour schedule below. ME REX Announce Plesiosaur EP, Share “Jupiter Pluvius”: Stream
English quartet ME REX have announced their latest EP Plesiosaur, out June 17th via Big Scary Monsters, and shared its lead single “Jupiter Pluvius.” Stream it below. Plesiosaur’s prehistoric title aligns with the band’s prolific collection dating back to 2016’s Woolly Mammoth EP and continuing through the dual Triceratops/Stegosaurus EP in 2020 and February’s 4-track Pterodactyl EP. They took a detour for the 52-track, shuffle-friendly experimental triumph Megabear in 2021 and despite the project’s renewed nominal connections, ME REX is clearly primed to move into their next era. The Brian Jonestown Massacre Announce 2022 Tour Dates
The Brian Jonestown Massacre are hitting the road this year. Anton Newcombe and company announced a 2022 trek across North America, with help from special guests Mercury Rev. The 2022 tour will be the first big action from The Brian Jonestown Massacre since the 2019 release of their eponymous, eighteenth studio album. On this run, the famously turbulent Newcombe will be joined by Hallberg Daði Hallbergsson on bass, Hakon Adalsteinsson and Enrique Maymi on guitar, Uri Rennert on drums, Joel Gion on tambourine, and Ryan Carlson on keyboards. Beginning March 27th, BJM will hit the East Coast with a stop at Philadelphia’s Union Transfer before heading up into Canada and back down the West Coast. With her new album Humble Quest set to drop later this month, Maren Morris has announced an expansive 2022 North American tour. “Oh, how I’ve missed you,” Morris wrote in a social media statement. “I can’t wait to see you out under the stars.” The “Humble Quest Tour” kicks off June 9th in Raleigh, North Carolina with support from Brent Cobb, Ruston Kelly, Joy Oladokun, Natalie Hemby, The Lone Bellow, and Brittney Spencer. Foo Fighters Announce Tour Dates in Australia, New Zealand
Foo Fighters will head Down Under in late 2022 for a string of tour dates in Australia and New Zealand. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will kick off the Australian leg on November 30th in Perth, with additional shows scheduled in Melbourne (12/4), Brisbane (12/10), and Sydney (12/12).
