Caleb Landry Jones Announces New Album Gadzooks Vol 2, Shares “Touchdown Yolk”: Stream

Everyone loves a two-parter, which is why actor-musician Caleb Landry Jones has announced Gadzooks Vol. 2, the appropriately titled follow up to 2021’s Gadzooks Vol. 1. The album is out November 4th via Sacred Bones, while first single “Touchdown Yolk” is available to stream now. Jones recorded Gadzooks Vol. 2 with Nic Jodoin and Drew Erickson at Los Angeles’ Valentine Recording Studios, the birthplace of records by The Beach Boys and Frank Zappa. David Bowie’s Hunky Dory Era Chronicled in Upcoming Box Set Divine Symmetry

For the most fervent of David Bowie fans, the 12 months leading up to the legend’s 1971 masterpiece Hunky Dory will soon be documented with the expansive box set Divine Symmetry, out November 25th via Parlophone. As a preview, you can hear an unearthed BBC Radio recording of “Kooks” today. Divine Symmetry comprises four CDs and one Blu-Ray that contain countless home demos, radio sessions, and live and studio recordings — including 48 that have just been unveiled for the first time. NOFX have today announced what will presumably be their final record as a band: Double Album, the aptly-titled counterpart to February’s Single Album, is out on December 2nd via Fat Wreck Chords. Denzel Curry is gearing up to release a re-vamp of his great March album Melt My Eyez See Your Future that features his Cold Blooded Soul Band — the 10-piece ensemble who helped make the Florida MC’s recent NPR Tiny Desk Concert and performance on The Tonight Show all the more captivating. Spoon Announce Remix Album Lucifer on the Moon, Share New Version of “On the Radio”: Stream

Spoon are keeping the momentum going on their latest album Lucifer on the Sofa with a full-album rework called Lucifer on the Moon, with all remixes done by Adrian Sherwood. Before the full album is out November 4th, the Austin band have shared a preview today with the new version of “On the Radio.” Spoon’s initial plan was to have Sherwood remix only a few tracks off Lucifer on the Sofa. But one thing led to another, and like a snowball effect of dub-influenced-indie rock the musicians found themselves with a track-by-track remix on their hands. “I got into the melody and the thoughts it evoked in me,” Sherwood explains in a press release. “It just evolved and we eventually found ourselves with a whole album.” Advertisement Related Video The producer takes “On the Radio” from a ...
